You know fivr, many times when I'm watching the serial I find it hard to believe that Dutta is a mobster. He is too refined, sensitive, and educated (otherwise why would he own a laptop?) to be a ghunda. At least thts what I feel when I watch his behavior. If he really was such a brute he would never care about Supriya's feelings and would have married her anyway. Kinda like morey. But the fact that there is such a clear distinction between morey and dutta makes you think about the irony of the situation. Morey is a cop who is like a ghunda while dutta is a ghunda acting like a cop. Very interesting... In my opinion they could have made dutta a politician considering his personality or a minister but they chose to make him a mobster.

And what is this I hear? Supriya's has still not opened her mouth?? What do you need? an invitation? For chrissakes speak woman! She's lucky dutta is a good man because if he was a bad man he would have believed she was in love with someone else without even asking her or waiting to hear it from her. Sharafat ka fayida utha rahi hai 😡

I know...Datta is a mobster but a gentleman...while morey is an officer but a slimeball. Unless someone in the show explicitly mentions Datta's work u dont remember he's a mobster. btw my guess was confirmed by mishal when he said in an interview that datta got into this business as a kid. so prolly its some sort of family business for the patils. on the sidelines i suppose the patils help out the less fortunate people in their area...hence the respect for datta and aai sahib.
Btw this sups thing is frustrating...maybe becuz we know that the wedding wont be happening and datta is naku. just they need to get rid of her fast.

Regarding the build up of anger in Datta...I loved how apart from everything esle they played with his hands...his fingers...when he starts getting angry he puts his fingers a little too forcefully against some railing...then when sits down he joins his hands his hands together...u can almost see him trying to control his rising temper. then at one point he closes his eyes...u cud feel that he is prolly counting 10 in his mind. And when he walks towards sups...u feel he will go her and probably shake her. and my god..the way he looks at her after he throws the pillow....if only looks cud kill.

Agree! Lol, I love how they used something as insignificant as fingers and breaths and eyes to tie his "anger" I loved it! 😃

Regarding what Naku wanted to talk to Datta...I really dunno how she thought she can help him. except that i feel till ganpat told it...it didnt strike her that datta might want to marry supriya but she may not. (I suppose like us even she cant understand why some woman would not prefer HIM). that would disappoint datta...and she didnt want him disappointed/heartbroken. she thought if she's around she might be able to be able to talk to him through the disappointment.

Yeah I agree - and THAT is how she was planning on helping him. She wanted to help him through it, to make sure he was okay and to be there if he wasn't. I think that's what she intended to do when she was trying to talk to him. And yeah! HOW someone can NOT like Dutta is beyond me too! 😆

Aww, Thank you! You're just being too kind, you know. It's not that good. And Bhao ka Prime Time Samachar?! 😆 I am not sure how many people would appreciate me rambling on for long intervals. I might to one of the old episodes for the weekend - let me see. 😊

I KNOW! He's too refined to be the typical ghunda. But that's what makes him a protagonist - I like how this serial shows us that sometimes looks can be deceiving - in Nakku's case, Dutta's case and even More's case. I like that. And I am glad they made him a mobster - his idea of "right" and "wrong" is not influenced by anything other than what he feels. With politicians, you have voters and supporters and sponsors - a lot of ways to influence a politician's decision. But Dutta is not the kind to be influenced so I like how he's a mobster. His character is a don - it would not "fit" if it was someone else, wouldn't make sense.

Agree! I am thinking about starting a "Beat up Supriya for being spineless" Movement. Wanna join?! 😆

Thats a nice thought Fivr...it never struck...but ur rite...whatever he does in influenced by ONLY what he feels. I also feel he's someone who doesnt care much for the society. I mean he does live by certain conventions of the society but if there is a choice between what's right in the society and what's he thinks is right...he will go with what he thinks. like in supriya's case if he's sure that her heart lies somewhere else he will not hesitate to break the relationship even 2 days before marriage. it wouldnt matter to him what people talk about it. that vs supriya who seems to think that now its too late to go back.
also in naku's case...unlike others he doesnt get blinded by her looks. he's seen her for what she is when she turned back to help instead of taking the easy way out.

I just want to give Naku a hug too for being so devoted to him. But then I am not sure Datta himself will appreciate the bhashan baazi...remember that dhakka he's supposed to have given her for too much bhasans? I hope they show that bit and dont cut it. i wanna to see him missing her presence...seeking her out and apologizing.
