But if I may go off at a tangent and express some of my views about aayi sahib. I really don't know what to make of her. She is not Datta's true mom but she loves him to bits. Is always worried about his happiness and his well being. If that is so, isn't it strange that she doesn't stop Datta from carrying on with his dhanda ???? 😕 A business that is way too dangerous and can eventually kill him or put him behind bars for the rest of his life. Somehow her indulgence as regards Datta's business is something that I find a little difficult to swallow given her extremely motherly attitude towards her son

You know Aayi sahib has been in the Patil family for a while. And furthermore she knows alot about the history of the Patil family - she knows that the Patil men do what they want and are a little hot-headed (not that we complain! 😍). I know Dutta has done what his Aayi asked him to so far, but do we really think that's enough reason to believe that he's going to do EVERYTHING she asks him to do? Also, maybe this isn't Dutta's business but it's a family business thing that Dutta just inherited and grew. If that's the case then she probably knew about this business when she got married to her husband so I am sure she's okay with the business. And the business seems to be a means to help the needy and helpless. I mean what exactly do we know about Dutta's business - that he received a shipment of gold plates and that he helps the helpless who're being wronged? Other than that we haven't really been told the details of his business have we? I mean we don't know what he deals in - drugs? guns? counterfiet? something worst? And we don't know HOW bad he really is. So far we've been shown a "Sarkar-esque" image of him, and honestly speaking I have no problem with him. Like the tagline for one of the shows I watch says - "Sometimes bad guys make the best good guys". So if he's using his business to help the needy, I can understand why Aayi sahib isn't repulsed by it.

But then again, this is all a theory. Until we KNOW what Dutta's business really is...

The actual nature of the relationship b/w Datta and his sisters and Aai isnt clear. coming to his business it appears to me that Datta is a smuggler. he atleast smuggles gold. apart from that he is involved in other bhaigiri business like real estate where basically force is used to settle land deals. and datta is a very feared man in his area. both baji and kala mention datta can kill/get people killed if required. but datta also has some legal businesses...he must be prolly investing his black money in the legal business to convert it to white money. it also appears that being violent/aggressive is expected among the patils. kala's husband is always taunted for not being like them. so its quiet possible that the bhaigiri business was inherited by datta. but as of now they are not focussing on the negative aspects of his business. i guess later on they will focus on that once TaSha are closer.
