Mano Ya Na Mano back with Season 2

Have you ever seen anyone shedding tears of blood?? Have you ever heard of a man who has not eaten for 70 years and is still alive?? Mano Ya Na Mano, things like these do exist in different parts of our country.

MANO YA NA MANO (Season 2) is back on air with astonishing true stories which are based on strange facts and rare people.

If you thought cannibals exist only in movies and books here is some food for thought! Aghoris still exist in India and are known for their cannibalistic rituals. The rural population holds them in high reverence as they are believed to possess healing powers and ease pain and other ailments.

In a country of miracles, Northeast India is a house to a young girl named Rashida Khatoon who cries tears of blood instead of water. Her house has now been transformed into a holy shrine where worshippers from the world over come and watch in awe as blood drips from her eyelids several times a day.

India is well known for its religious and spiritual practices but what is not known is a ritual followed in a village in Tamil Nadu where a couple getting married has to perform thoppukaranam – sit ups, holding their ears 10,000 times. The bride and groom have to walk around the temple tank with grass in their mouth, holding burning torches.

Mano Ya Na Mano brings these mysterious incidents to your television screens very soon. The anchor would be actor Mishal Raheja.

Through icy peaks to the cool blue lakes to the wild jungles and the rainforests, through barren deserts to the silent shores, Mano Ya Na Mano is going to start a journey to unfurl the unknown that lies hidden in various parts of India.

Sex Is An Eternal Exercise For Me

From playing the demure Kumud in Kkusum to the bitchy vamp Kalavati in Laagi Tujhse Lagan, the pretty Aashka Goradia has come a long way. Be it the innocent and obedient daughter, the suave and confident career woman or the gossipy lady next door, Aashka has proved that she can pull off a variety of roles with ease. And while the actress is not much of a talker in real life, we managed to pin her down for our monthly HARD TALK questions and got some bold but brutally honest answers. We bet you will enjoy reading this one.

Tell us about your first attraction.

I can't say that my first attraction was back in school because I didn't know what attraction meant then. The first time I understood what attraction was when I saw this delicious man walk in at some place and I couldn't gather myself! I so wanted him'

What was your first date like? How far would you go on a first date?

My very first date was after I moved to Mumbai from Ahmedabad, with this very charming American man. He was elegant, had a base in his voice and yet his eyes gave him the look of a soft-spoken person. To be honest, it was he who actually made me understand what a first date should be like. According to me, it should be nothing more than talking, walking, admiring each other, cracking jokes and simply flirting with your eyes. That's how far I would go on a first date.

What would you wear on a hot date?

I would love to wear something that is finely designed, which would be enough to keep my hot date curious and intrigued. I would love to wear a dress that subtly hints 'catch me if you can'!

Would you call yourself a flirt?

The man I love the most says I am the biggest flirt he has ever met. He says, I don't do it deliberately but I just have eyes that flirt! So now, I am finally convinced that I was born a flirt and that I shall die a flirt. I think it's fun and healthy to be a flirt, as long as it stays clean.

What is your take on one-night stands?

I do not believe in one-night stands because for me sex is something very special and hence it has to be with the person I feel connected to mentally. And one-night stands are far from that connectivity because they simply happen on an intoxicated, drunken night or probably in cases of irresistible attraction.

Have you ever been attracted to someone of the same sex?

No, I have never been attracted to someone of the same sex because I have got enough attention from the opposite sex. I am incredible attracted to men to have ever been attracted to women.

Has a girl ever hit on you?

Yes, once a woman tried to hit on me. Where and when would be difficult to disclose but the way that lady hit on me, all I could turn around and tell her was, 'Ma'am you are so beautiful but I just have one problem. We both have the same things and I am not really fond of the things that I already own'! That was the funniest thing that happened to me.

What are your takes on homosexuality and bisexuality?

Like I said, sex is an exercise that one performs in his or her own way. A few do it (homosexuality and bisexuality) out of urge and a few do it for experience. I am not one of them and hence I will not judge those who are, simply because each individual has his/her own choice.

What turns you on in a man?

Great smell and my man making full use of his eyes would definitely not only turn me on but will also make me feel like giving in to him completely.

How would you react if a guy made a pass at you?
I consider 'making a pass' as a kind of an art. So do it right and I might get responsive'

What are your views on pre-marital sex?

I think we all are a part of the generation next. I respect our culture, but why be hypocritical? Once you are an
adult, pre-marital sex is not something you can judge someone on. I think it's fine as again it's an individual adult's choice.

Do you think men always have sex on their minds?

Not really. Not in all cases at least because if that start's happening, men will stop falling in love. So men do not have sex on their mind always!

How much importance would you give to sex in a relationship?
Like I have mentioned sex is an eternal exercise for me, so in order to keep my love life alive, I need sex to be a very important part of my routine. And a routine cannot be broken.

Do you see yourself in a purely physical relationship?

I just cannot see myself in a purely physical relationship, simply because this exercise (sex) is my most divine experience. After all, we are not animals, so we can definitely have more than just a physical relationship.

Do you think nice guys have a tough time getting the right girl?

No, right guys do not have a problem finding the right girl because the right guys are busy being just right! Their doors for the wrong girls are tightly shut so I think they will have no problems. I think it's a sickness.

Why do men love bitches?

We use the social terminology 'bitch' to describe a woman who knows how to handle her man. I guess men love bitches because the curiosity in a relationship dies the day a woman stops being a bitch.

Have you experienced the casting couch?

Yes, I have experienced the casting couch. Denying this fact would be cheesy. I realised in the end that they are the kinds of people who make films over a cup of tea, so I shun them now.

Showbiz entities are assumed to be loose. How would you react to such assumptions?

Firstly, these assumptions should be denied on all levels. We are the most powerful entities when it comes to reaching out to people and hence those who are the most wanted and the most happening always carry nasty tags like these.

Would you take back your partner who has strayed in a relationship if he regretted it later?

No. That would be the end of our relationship.

What is your opinion on open marriages/open relationships?

If infidelity isn't going to be an issue in such cases then it is fine. But I want to ask such people, where does their sanity go? Love can't exist in such marriages/relationships. It becomes just another deal.

Tell us about your wildest fantasy.

My wildest fantasy is so close to coming true that I might just lose it if I say it now'

Will Nakusha save Dutta Bhau?

Dutta Bhau (Mishal Raheja) and Nakusha (Mahhi Vij) are in troubled waters since the time they have fed away from home hiding from Maleshwar Anna (Murli Sharma). However, now, the hide and seek game will get over and Maleshwar and Dutta will see each other face to face. The question arises whether Nakusha will be able to save Dutta.

According to the previous episodes, Dutta's mother through a pundit had discovered that Nakusha will become Dutta protecting shield. In short, nobody can harm Dutta if Nakusha is around.

However, the fact remains that considering the power of Maleshwar, and if he and Dutta come face to face, will Nakusha kavach (shield) overpower Maleshwar's terror.

Nothing lasts forever, especially in this industry where most relationships hinge on commerce. When the bucks stop flowing or TRPs dwindle, even those considered to be inseparable, head in different direction.

Television is riddled with tales of friends-turned-foes, the most prominent of it being Ekta Kapoor and Smriti Iraani. However, we're not in the mood to add fuel to fire. On the contrary, we sincerely hope these two old friends leave the past behind and call truce.
Let's have a look at some of the famous friends-turned-foes or the ones who simply can't stand the sight of each other. Let's hope that on this Friendship Day they extend the olive branch.

Mahhi Vij – Asmit Kaushik

Mahhi Vij is a star today, but not many will remember Asmit Kaushik. What's the equation between them? Well, the duo had made their TV debut together as the leading pair of Sahara One show 'Shubh Kadam', earlier titled 'Kaise Laagi Lagan'. They were cordial to each other in the beginning, until poor Kaushik was politely told to leave the show as he was found wanting in his primary task – acting. The 'actor' in Kaushik though cited a different story. He was apparently, told that he was looking much younger to the older Vij. Our girl wasn't pleased at being called old, so she exposed Asmit's (acting) frailties.

Come on Mahhi, you've gone on to become a star. You're dating Jay Bhanshali. Last heard, poor Asmit was brushing his skills through workshops. Just give a call that might just make him feel wanted on this Friendship day.

Mishal's furniture woes

Mishal Raheja has reason to be miffed. The actor is fuming as the brand new set of furniture he had purchased turned out to be broken on delivery. "

The wood on my bedstead is broken and the glass on the centre table is not fitted properly and it can fall off. After more than a month and repeated complaints, the store has not replaced the furniture nor responded to my woes," rues an embittered Mishal. The actor who is shooting for Laagi Tujhse Lagan these days, adds, "I have given them enough time to rectify their error. Now I intend to go to the consumer court and take legal action against them."

Mahi Vij-Mishal Raheja
Rumour has it that Mishal Raheja (Duttabhau) and Mahhi Vij (Nakusha), who lead the Colors show 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan', do not get along too well. If sources are to be believed, Mishal and Mahhi don't talk much to each other once the camera is off. The show is a hit and both Nakusha and Duttabhau have become popular with the public. For some, Duttabhau is even more popular than Nakusha.

Mahi and Mishal

'Laagi Tujhse Lagan' will be running on the present track, the scene in jungle, for one week more. The show keeps changing its track as per its weekly TRPs. The production has extended the jungle scene to some extent to keep the spark of the show alive. A source said that the telle-soap was rated 4.5 last week because of the current track showing Nakusha (Mahi Vij) and Dutta Bhau (Mishal Raheja) lost in a jungle and spending some time together.

The track has rekindled the audience's interest in the show. The filmy styled track showing the leads sharing some memorable moments in solitude of the jungle has been a driver for the show's TRPs. That is why the production decided to keep the jungle episode on the go for one more week. Then, they will get their way out of the jungle.

When the jungle episode will near its end, the Inspector More (Pawan Malhotra) is expected to arrive as a storm in Nakusha's life again. Of course, if the track is not gripping, the show will not definitely reach a high in terms of ratings and TRPs. No doubt, the extension is a brainstorming idea of the producer.

Hope, the idea of extending the jungle episode will click with the audience of 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan'!

Mauli Ganguli

Mauli Ganguli has been keeping a low profile since 'Kaahin Kissii Roz' days. She's made an odd appearance here or two but nothing significant. That is about to change as she's all set to enter in Colors and Playtime Creations' hit show 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan'.

A reliable source says, "Mauli has signed for 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan'. She will be playing the character of Samla, wife of don Anna (Murli Sharma). Details regarding her track are being given the final touches. She will start to shoot from today".

Despite repeated attempts, she remained unavailable for comment.

Post 'Kaahin Kissii Roz', Ganguli was seen in 'Nach Baliye' with beau Mazher Sayed. She was also appreciated for her role in the Ajay Devgn, Aishwarya Rai starrer Raincoat.

Mouli joins Laagi Tujhse Lagan

Mouli Ganguly

A new twist awaits Nakusha and Dutta bhau in Laagi Tujhse Lagan as Mouli Ganguly enters the show as Jagtap's (Mohan Kapoor) wife.

A source from the show says, "Her track and whether she will play a good, bad or grey character hasn't been decided as yet. She is supposed to start shooting today. It is a cameo and her entry will possibly bring a twist in Naku and Dutta's love story."

We tried getting through to Mouli but she remained unavailable for comment. She was last seen in a significant role in Sony's Aathva Vachan.
