The story so far(Till April, 2010 1st week):

Well the story, lets see. Nakusha, her mom (Baabi), her father (Ganpat) and her brother (Sethji) all used to live in a Mumbai (I believe) slum. And Nakku was really "ugly" so everyone picked on her. And one time Baabi defended her which got her caught up with the law. One thing led to another and the corrupt police officer ended up finding out that Nakku wasn't really "ugly" - she just put color on her body to conceal her real beauty because of her mother. Basically the mother doesn't want anyone taking advantage of Nakku for her looks, like they did her OLDER sister (who's out of the picture right now). That officer wanted to marry Nakku - but really he planned on selling her after getting married to her.
When Baabi found out she and her entire family ran away from the slum and in the process they put the color back on Nakku. Which is when they ran into Dutta who beat up the officer (who is called Malmal More). Nakku saved Dutta's life when he got shot later by taking him to the hospital so now Dutta lets her and her family live at the Patil Mansion. And off course slowly but surely he is developing feelings for Nakku - he is opening up to her and confiding in her. Dutta used to love a girl in the past (Seema) but she cheated on him with a filthy pedophile Seth, all because he was richer than Dutta. So that's why Dutta came into the "underworld" business - to make money and quick.
As of today, Nakku loves him dearly but Dutta's marrying "Supriya" because his mother (Aayi Sahib) thinks that that's what Dutta wants. The girl doesn't want to marry Dutta though and she has a "boyfriend-cum-bodyguard-cum-pimp" who is trying to get her out of this marriage by winning Dutta's trust (which we all here think it POINTLESS, but that's a story for another day).
Oh and off course, there are the three step-evil-sisters who don't really hate Dutta (In my opinion) but just use him as their meal ticket. And the oldest one of them (Kalavati) is the brains in the group (and I totally adore her - just thought I should throw that out there😆). The other two, Leela and Roops, aren't very gifted in the "brain" department. But they seem to loathe Kalavati too. But that's it so far. Right now the story is focusing on the non-wedding of Supriya and Dutta.
Oh and off course there is Dutta's childhood friend Baji who is now Dutta's right hand man.
I think I've covered everything but in case I haven't, I am sure someone else will chip it! 😃

the main lead nakusha is a very poor girl with a useless father. she had a pretty elder sister who got into trouble due to her good looks. so now her paranoid/over protective mother Babi has decided that the best way to save her girl from the leches of the world is to hide her beauty under ugly make up. once by accident her beauty gets revealed and the lead naku as well as her family get into trouble as one corrupt policeman wants to sell her into flesh trade. while escaping from this police guy the mother again makes naku cover her beauty. they meet an underworld don datta bhau who gets rid of the policeman and also gives them a place to stay. naku falls for datta instantly but she undergoes a heartbreak when she gets to know that he's already engaged to another girl. she is tempted to reveal her beauty to datta but her mother drives sense to her head that datta doesnt love her but he was only being kind. for a girl like her who has no money its better that her beauty stays hidden otherwise they will get into trouble again. naku realizes the truth of her mothers words and doesnt reveal her beauty to the world once again.
After that we have seen the wedding preps start for Dutta's wedding to his fiancee Supriya. Dutta has 3 evil sisters who dont want their brother to get married as then his property would go to his kids. They make a few attempts on Supriya's life but she escapes. Dutta gets the feeling that Supriya isnt interested in marrying him. This upsets him. Naku realizes that and tries to explain to him that Supriya's behavior is normal. Dutta doesnt take her interference well and lashes out to her. But he realizes his mistake soon and goes to apologize. He realizes that Naku is now really scared of him. So he tells Naku the reason for his behavior.
In a flashback we see that 10 years ago Dutta was betrayed by his girlfriend and she chose a rich old man over him. This hurt him deeply and to make quick bucks he got into contract killing and became a much feared don. But he is a tormented man due to the route he has taken to get rich. He feels that Supriya agreed to marry him out of fear and he is upset over that. Naku makes him understand to not live under the shadow of his past and give supriya and himself a chance.
There we see Surpriya actually loves some other guy Ravi to enters dutta's house as supriya's bodyguard. Ravi tells supriya that she must woo dutta so that he relaxes the security around her and they can elope. supriya starts her woo dutta mission and succeeds in convincing him that she is really interested in him. Dutta is finally ready to move on and credits naku for the second chance he has got in life. Naku meanwhile can no longer take dutta getting close to his fiancee and has a breakdown. Ravi tells supriya that he was actually planted there by someone who wants Dutta's heart broken. that person will help them elope.
Supriya succeeds in getting dutta to relax the security. just when she is abt to elope she is caught by dutta's elder sister kala. kala agrees to help supriya elope so that her enraged brother doesnt kill the lovebirds. Kala helps them out but they are caught by Naku and brought back. Supriya and Ravi assure Naku that they have realized their mistake and are breaking up. Also that Supriya will now live happily ever after with Dutta. But this is a plan to confuse Naku. Naku isnt sure if she must trust Supriya so she starts keeping an eye on Supriya after being told that Ravi has left.
When Kala finds out Naku caught Supriya and got her back she is annoyed and decides to help Supriya elope and get Naku blamed for it.
Dutta's wedding day arrives and Supriya manages to trick Naku and escape by faking her death. But Dutta soon realizes that Supriya is alive and this is confirmed when his men catch Supriya and Ravi trying to flee. Upon investigation Baji finds out that Supriya has been having a long standing affair with Ravi. He breaks this news to Dutta who is anguished and ANGRY. Dutta goes to take the two to task but before he can reach them a mysterious man comes and helps them escape Dutta's men.
Seeing the circumstances surrounding Supriya's escape Dutta realizes someone from his house has helped her escape. Kala plants a letter written by Supriya which credits Naku for helping her elope. Dutta feels betrayed by Naku when he gets the letter but he is confused. Kala smartly manipulates the situation and builds up proofs against Naku in Dutta's eyes. The final blow comes when to save Naku from Dutta's wrath her mother Babi blurts out that Naku is in love with Dutta. Dutta is moved by this and asks Naku to tell him the truth. Naku admits she loves him. But Dutta feels Naku did what she did to become his wife. He feels hurt and betrayed at the thought that Naku abused his trust and friendship. He decides to teach her a lesson. He forces Naku to marry him at gunpoint. They become man and wife but Dutta promises to make her regret ever wanting to be his wife.
