And now the ace director makes his television debut with a show that revolves around his passion, dance. Farhaan joins Nach Baliye as one of the three celebrity judges, who along with viewers will decide the fate of the star couples every week. Speaking about his new role as a judge, Farhaan stated, "I am really passionate about dancing and always wanted to pursue it as a career. But, what will make judging this show more unique for me is the fact that I will be looking for more than just their dancing abilities! I won't reveal more... just that the couples better be prepared!! The concept of this show is absolutely unique and I am really looking forward for this show to begin as it's going to be a complete entertainer!" The other two judges for the show are yet to be decided. Star parivaar's Dandiya dhoom
STAR seems to be making it a point to celebrate all the festivals, at least those which involve colour and gaiety. After playing holi with Rang Barse, Dhoom Machale during Diwali, the channel is all set to celebrate dandiya raas. Says Shailaja Kejriwal, Creative Director, Star India, "We want to celebrate as many festivals as we can with our actors and viewers because it is the best way to connect." So you will have the Viranis of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi hosting this mega dandiya raas celebration where they invite all the stars from the Star Parivaar. Baa, the senior most member of the family, will be the heroine as artistes from various Star serials walk into her house to prepare delicacies, draw rangolis and get decked up for the event. Designer cholis for the heroines of the various shows are being designed by Nim Sood of Balaji Telefilms. The song-dance event with scripted moments will be televised on September 21 and 24. It will be aired on October 2 from 7.00 - 9.00 pm. The reason for airing the event just before Navratri is the channel wants to be a trend-setter, both in terms of the outfits and sets. So watch Rishi, Sasha, Swayam flirt with Tulsi, Prerna and Tanya, while Baa moves to the rhythmic beat of the Salman number 'Just chill chill...'. Her sizzling performance ends with Sujal joining in singing 'Sun ... jara ... thodi ... sun ... jara ... from Lucky. This apart, the viewers will also get to see some sizzling dances from the likes of Komolika, Kavya, Anjali and Kesar. The finale will include a special appearance by Jeetendra. FM-II radio expansion document likely soon

The government had announced expansion of FM-II policy guidelines in July with I&B minister S Jaipal Reddy stating that the tendering process would start by August-end. A team of existing FM companies had met with I&B officials to seek clarifications on operational aspect of FM-II policy guidelines, industry sources said. "We wanted clarifications on wording and intent of the announced guidelines when we met the I&B secretary three weeks back," head of an existing FM station told. The existing players want clarifications on issues like restriction on single company owning more than one frequency in one city. Issues of raising funds from only notified financial institutions and not from the parent group and foreign directors on company board are some of the other operational concerns on which private players are seeking clarifications.

Evaluating business opportunities in top 30 cities, existing players want the government to calculate the 4% revenue-sharing agreement on the basis of "deal-rate" and not on "card rate". "We expect our concerns to be clarified in the tender document, hence it has taken this long for government to notify the final document," sources said.
