The serial wasn't exactly "awesome" before Smriti left either. It has been mediocre for around 2-3 years now. And from the looks of it, things are only going to deteriorate. Yeah, there might be a few shining moments on rare occasions but overall, it's all going downhill. Frankly I think it's high time Ekta pulls the plug on her long running shows and reinvents the soap or it's going to slip out of her hands. 😉
