Part 21
Recap-All the kids at SN come home on time....however the arrival of Shivani shocks Tulsi, Nakul, and Laksh which leads to suspicion. Nakul and Laksh are confident that something is going on in their sisters' life and they are going to find out. In the US Kt and her friends are spending some time off of work at home, when Kt's other personality interacts with Wahida and Maryam; now Maryam is stubborn to get her hands on KT's diary.
NJ, USA
Maryam and Wahida after putting Kt on her bed, start to carefully go through her room closets to get their hands on the diary that Kt daily writes in. After about 20 minutes the girls gave up and then slowly walked down to the living room.
Maryam-Damn it...we couldn't find that dairy!
Wahida-Woh aise kaise jage mein rakhti hai to humay milhi nahin rahi.
Maryam-Pata Nahin...yeh ladki bhi na, iski diary bhi ek mystery hai!!
Wahida sighs and falls on the sofa-Abh kya karay? We couldn't get our hands on her diary...welll Mary...u r the physchologist think where could a troubled woman put her diary.
Maryam gives an iditiotic look to Wahida-R u stupid...im not some super phsychic or something!!!
Wahida-Watever...let's just find the damn diary and find out what the problem is.
Maryam-It isn't that easy Wahida as u think it is...not only do I have to find that diary I'm gonna have to find some good physchologist that can help Kt in India. I'm trying to find one that is young and can become Kt's friend.
Wahida-Well hum to kisi ko itni achi tarah se nahin jante India mein, well except Anu chachu aur Nandani Chachi.
Maryam- you forgot Laksh.
Wahida-oh....him....forgot. Well we can't do crap right now...its getting late and we need to at least get something to eat...
Maryam-Yea lets whip up something good for us all and then we will wake up Kt.
Wahida-Uh....i think we won't have to do that.
Maryam looked up at the stairs and saw Kt coming down holding her head. Maryam looked up at Kt wondering if that is infact her cousin KT and not some personality of hers. Wahida took a step back scared thinking that Kt's other half would attack them.
Kt-Wahida...what happened? My head hurts so badly.
Maryam sighs of relief-Kuch nahin Kt, your just overworked i guess.
Wahida sighs-Its cause you don't eat anything...look how skinny you've gotten......Nandani chachi will get mad!
Kt-wahida stop shouting....my head hurts when you do.
Maryam looked at Wahida and then walked towards Kt.
Maryam-Do u feel light headed?
Kt-no
Maryam-Do you feel different, something...uh do you feel like yourself?
Kt-ha Maryam....of course i feel like myself
Maryam-Is the light hurting your eyes?
Kt-no
Maryam-Look up and follow this little flash light.
Kt looks up and follows Maryam'slittle flashlight going side to side. Then Maryam looked at Kt's eyes and then at her facial expressions. This was defintely Kt and so Wahida grabbed her hand and sat her down.
Kt smiles-Are you done Doctor with your check up?
Maryam-Ha, i am ....take some advil with food and water and you'll be fine.
Kt smiles again-Ok Wahida, I am a doctor to you know...well, will be in about 4 years...well earlier if i finish my recc....(gets interrupted)
Maryam-I know...i know....
Wahida looks at Maryam nervously, then she walks into the kitchen to make dinner.
Kt-omg!!!
Wahida and maryam come running from the kitchen-What??
Kt-I have been sleeping for about 7 hours??
Maryam-uh huh...kyun?
Kt-why didn't you wake me up? I mean then I won't sleep after dinner!
Wahida-You will, after you take that advil Kt, relax.
Kt-I guess.
Finally Kt joined the girls in the kitchen...first they popped the music up because they always did that when they cooked together. Kt danced and made some rotis while Maryam danced and made sabzi. Wahida danced and washed the extra dishes from the sink so that they wouldn't have a huge pile later. Around 8:30 p.m. they were done cooking, and for the all oily smell to leave the kitchen while they ate Kt cracked up a window. Finally for some reason when the wind touched her face she felt like herself. She was in the mood today to have fun...she didn't feel weird like she did for the past 4 days.
Wahida whispers to Maryam-I haven't seen her this stress free in a while. Do you think that she is completely herself right now?
Maryam-I was thinking the same Di. i think she is defintely fully Kt right now.
Kt out of no where-I am so mad at that chilgose....he didn't call me for a long time.
Maryam looked blankly at Wahida.
Kt-Don't look at me like that.....ha mein Laksh ke baare mein baat karahi hoon. Woh to phone bhi nahin karta. Jaab mein waha jawongi, I will not spare him. (she laughs jokingly)
Wahida looked at maryam, then Maryam tells her to just be herself and talk to Kt normally, as if there is nothing wrong with her.
Wahida-She just scares me a little u know.
Maryam-shh...Wahi just act like yourself...this is our Kt....OUR KT, whom I haven't seen in like almost a month.
Wahida-Wow, he didn't call u Kt?
Kt-yea he didn't, and what r u two whispering about there, tell me u two!!!
Maryam-Nothing we were deciding whether we should move in for a few days since, since soon you will be leaving...
Wahida-Tum humay chod kay India jaongi....in about week, so we want to spend time with you.
Maryam-yea ur last day of work is tomorrow, Wahida and I also took this week off.
Kt smiles-That is so sweet of you guys.....u know u don't have to think about staying here ever......please, I would love it if you were with me this week!
Maryam and Wahida smile at each other and then they all dig in to eat their dinner. While eating they all start talking about random funny things.
Maryam-You know what Kt, you should call Laksh.....(Wahida closed her eyes scared to see the other personality to come out)
Kt-I should, since that idiot doesn't call me.
Wahida surprised and happy-well you know, u can call him around this time can't u?
Kt-Nah, are u crazy they are probably still sleeping, its probably early in the morning!
Wahida-True.
Kt drank some juice-Man this juice is amazing....it tastes different then the usual grape flavor.
Maryam-I defintely noticed that too.
Kt-So what movie do you guys wanna watch after dinner is over?
Wahida-ummmm I wanna watch Bachna aye Haseeno.
Kt laughs out loud-You duffer, that movie is in theaters still.
Maryam-ummm lets watch.......(all thinking)
All together say-Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix!
Wahida laughs-I heard this part was really good.
Kt-Thats why we should watch it, man we really are kids....(laughs) who'd think we are doctors!!!
Wahida-hey, being a kid is awesome....we r still young and hot.
Maryam-Then lets go...we should clean up and then start watching...that movie must be at least 2 hours long...and plus we're gonna have to call the video to have it ready so we can pick it up!
All of them start to clean up the kitchen and then they run into the car to go pick up the movie. As soon as they got into the store Wahida started to hit on hot looking guys.
Wahida-hey, see that guy in the left?
Kt-Ha dekha to.
Wahida-uff Kt don't look at him directly....
Kt laughs-sorry....ha so wat about him?
Wahida-he's ho...(imnterrupted by maryam)
Maryam-Hot i know!
All of them laugh.
Kt-Well Wahida, tumhari choice ko daat deni padhegi....he is hot.....but not so hot....i mean he is okay......but not as hot as.....(she stops before her friends say anything but its too late)
Wahida-Not as hot as who KT (hits her with her elbow)
Kt-uh koi nahin Wahi chup....tum jao or movie lekar awao...
Wahida-ha ha funny like we didn't know who you were thinking of.
Maryam-Of course woh Laksh hai na.....us hi ke barray mein na? Ha pata hai humko, tumhay to apna Laksh hi sexy lagega....
Kt blushes and moves her hair to the side laughing and turned red.
Maryam-Oye hoi!!!
Wahida-yeh to sharma rahi hai....
Kt laughs-enough you guys...chalo JHarry ko le kaar awao....
Maryam and Wahida-Harry? Abh yeh Harry kaun hai?
Kt hits her head with her hand-hey bhagwan, Harry Potter ko aur kisay?
Finally they come home around 10:00 p.m. with the movie and then start to see who can come the closest to the time the movie would end.
Wahida-I think the movie will end at about 11:00
Maryam-nope i believe it will be about 12:00 ish to 12:30 ish when it ends.
Kt-uh i think about........1:00...par chalo na at least put it on!
They all change into their pajamas and then hover around togther on the couch with a huge blanket. Then they begin their movie night.
While the Movie is on Maryam makes sure that she is alert for any behaviors.
Maryam thinkin in her head-I am so relieved that at least Kt is still there and that the personality hasn't taken over her head completely. God its been a while since I saw my Kt be herself, happy and enjoying life, please protect her bhagwan. (she closes her eyes and a speck of tear rolls, but she quickly wipes it off)
Mumbai, India
The morning sun rose bringing about a clear beautiful day; no one could even tell that it had rained all night. Everyone was up at SN in the pooja room. All the girls were circling the Tulsi plant, first it was Tulsi, Ba,then Ganga the eldest Bahu, Nandani the youngest bahu, then finally the other Nandani in that perfect order.
While they were praying they don't even notice that another member of the family quitely walked into the line, she went right in front of Nandani (V). Once they stopped the circles they lifted up the aarti plates and prayed. Nandani (V) then was about to give the plate to Ganga when she jumped up with happiness.
Nandani-Damini bhabhi!!!
Damini hugged Nandani, then took Ba's blessings as well as Tulsi's; finally she jumped on Ganga since she was still so surprised to see her. Bhoomi, Shivani, Prerna, Alaliya, Zinu, and Pari were standing there smiling and laughing.
Shivani-Wow, yea ghar ki daughter-in-laws to humse hi agaye nikli.
Damini comes and grabs Shivani's ear.
Damini-kyun beta Chachi ko hug nahin degi!!
Shivani laughs and hugs Damini-Chachi, but please don't pull my ears.
Damini- ha ha pata hai, meri beti ke kaan bohot hi delicate hai.
Damini then hugs Pari, Aaliyah, Zinu, Bhoomi, and Prerna.
Damini-I am so happy to see the whole family together....Nandani di it is so good to have you home.....when did you come?
Nandani B-I came a couple months ago....i missed you....how are you......mil aye Eklavya ko?
Damini-ha mil ayi......woh aap saab ko bohot yaad kar raha tha!
While the family bahus were laughing together, the girls all went to start their pooja and then finished up and joined their parents. While no one was looking Prerna slowly went up to her room and grabbed a bag, she walked into Nakul's room quietly. She closed the door slowly and as she turned she bumped right into Nakul. Both looked into each other's eyes for about a few seconds when Nakul finally snapped out of it.
Nakul-uh....(nervously) tum yaha?
Prerna shyly-Well, maine tumhare liye ek shirt buy kiya tha. I went shopping and i thought that it would look nice on you.
Nakul while looking for a tye smiles to himself cutely and blushes a bit. Prerna takes out the shirt with cool blue and white stripes....the shirt was actually really nice. Nakul looked at it and thought of pulling her leg. While all this was going Shivani, Bhoomi, Zinu, Aaliyah, and Pari were looking at them.
Shivani whispers- oh usko laga ke bhaiya ko pasand ayegi yeh shirt.
The girls giggle a little.
Bhoomi mimicks Prerna-Jee mujhe laga ke yeh shirt aap pe bohot achi lagegi!!
Zinu-to yeh saab chal raha hai yaha.....ek nayi love story i see......and they thought we wouldn't know oh how pish posh of them.(she scoffs)
They giggle again....from the back Laksh joins them and starts to giggle around.....while that is going Laksh is getting flashbacks of Kt and how beautiful she looked. The first time they met she had a beautiful blue salwar on with wet hair....the attitude....the passion in her eyes, then Laksh snapped out when Prerna started to yell a little.
Prerna-achi nahin hai? Theek hai to maat peheno...its not like it would a difference to me....watever!
Nakul-Yea well i never told you that i wanted anything.
Prerna-Then why are you holding it, give it back!! (her eyes start to tear)
Prerna snatches the shirt from Nakul's hand and starts walking away. Shivani notices her coming to the door so she starts pushing everyone to move, and all them fall since they were all crowding near the door window. All them quietly laugh and then get back up to their feet, to eavesdrop on Nakul and Prerna. While Prerna is walking away Nakul grabs her from her arm and pulls her towards him.
Nakul-Kaha ja rahi ho......let me see the shirt. (he snatches the shirt again)
Laksh outside says-Oh go bro.....come on!!!!
The girls-shhhhhhhhh.
Nakul-Oh its that bad....waise bhi tumhari taste itni bhi bhuri nahin hai.
Prerna rolls her eyes-give me the shirr....(interrupted)
Nakul puts his hands on Prerna's lip-I said i like the shirt....thanks.....(he slowly moves the hair that's on Prerna's face, as Prerna's eyes close from nakul's passionate touch)
Outside Nandani hears a couple of giggles so she suspects something.
Nandani in her mind-when the kids giggle like that, there is something up.
So she walks up to the kids from the back and taps Zinu's shoulder. Zinu leaps a little scared to see who is in the back tapping her.
Zinu whisper-choti ma???
Nandani in a pretending angry whispered voice-Kya kar rahe ho?
Shivani could recognize her mom's voice anywhere so she quickly turns around to see what is going on.
Shivani-oh mom....even if you look at this beautiful movie thats going on in there....you will wanna watch more of it.
Nandani smiles mischieviously to the window and starts to watch what Prerna and Nakul are doing in there....after her follows in Ganga and Damini. So now Ganga, Damini, Nandani, Laksh, Zinu, Bhoomi, Shivani, Aaliyah and Pari were staring through the small window.
Prerna starts to breathe hard and her heart starts to beat fast with Nakul's touch on her waist.
Ganga shocked-Hey bhagwan yeh chal raha tha is ghar mein....abh to Nakul ko mein nahin chogongi (laughs with Damini and Nandani)
Nandani-how sweet, mere betay ko to dekho!
Damini sighs-dekho hamari nayi bahu ko nazar na laag jaye ....(laughs)
Ganga looks at Damini and Nandani laughing and the kids giggle listening to them talk like that.
Prerna whispers-Nakul, stop....kya kar rahe ho....
Nakul-kuch nahin....sirf tumhay dekh raha hu.
After a while the Bahus leave to help Tulsi before she got angry at them for spying on Nakul so it was back to only the kids being there.
Prerna eyes closed-Nakul chodo mujhe....
Nakul-Kyun....tum khud yaha ayi thi mere paas.....abh itni asani se nahin janedonga!!!
Shivani and Zinu then got tired of the holding and the annoying lines, because it wasn't going anywhere except for the eye locking sessions.
Shivani and Zinu both scream opening the door-Hey Bhagwan.....abh kuch aur karona....
Shivani and Zinu then look at each other noticing what they did....Nakul and Prerna both start to blush. Nakul suddenly runs after Shivani and Zinu......
Shivani-Zinu...bhago dammit!!!
Zinu-ahhhhhhh
Both start to run, leaving Bhoomi, Laksh, Aaliyah, and Pari laughing hard on the floor. Prerna comes out of the room and sees Bhoomi. Bhoomi gets up looking all mean....then Prerna shyly hugs her laughing.
Nakul-Shivani nahin chodonga tujhe aaj to mein!
Zinu-ahhhhhh Shivani bhago tum....
Tulsi and Ba-Are kya ho raha hai?
Ganga laughs knowing what is happening-Kuch nahin ma....masti kar rahe hai!
While Shivani is running her knee starts to hurt so she runs out of the house door where she bumps into Rahul.
Shivani runnin-Sorry Jeeju, Di is upstairs by Nakul Bhaiya's room.
Rahul-magar tum bhag kyun rahi ho?
Shivani just keeps going out, while Nakul comes and bumps into Rahul.
Nakul breathing hard-Hey Rahul....how r u...
Rahul-fine lekin tum kyun (interrupted)
Nakul-did you see my mischievious sister around?
Rahul saves Shivani-uhh no she didn't come out here. Chalo tum andar...
Rahul goes inside with Nakul, while Zinu is hiding in the kitchen under the table and Shivani is still running outside. Finally, Shivani hides behind a brick wall outside of the driveway where Rohan bumps into her. Shivani breathing hard holding her knee pretending not to see him.
Rohan rudely-Oh so madam is home.....so where did you run off last night.
Shivani ignores him looking the other way, which pisses off Rohan a bit more.
Rohan grabs Shivani's arm and pushes her against the brick wall.
Shivani-Rohan chodo mujhe, your hurting me!
Rohan-Dusro ko hurt karneka tumhay bohot maza ata hai....abh tum dekh na tumhay kitni taqleef hogi....jaab mein....(stops talking and looks away)
Shivani pushes Rohan-Tum kya.....jo karna hai karo na....i don't care, I don't care what you do, or what happens to you dammit...get over yourself....you are nothing but a stranger to me....do you understand that Rohan Malhotra?
Rohan grabs Shivani against the wall this time his both hands touch the wall while Shivani is standing in between.
Rohan-Really....and you think I care about anything......jo tumhay karna hai tum karo na.....(while saying that he bangs his hand on the wall really hard breaking the brick a little)
Rohan stars to bleed and Shivani see's it, she closes her eyes seeing the blood.
Shivani-Rohan...you are bleeding...(she grabs his hand then thinks in her head what the hell is she doing, so she puts his hand down)
Shivani-Sorry, i didn't mean to touch you. (her eyes tearing up)
Rohan-thanks for letting go whoever you are.
He goes inside SN, while Shivani decides to stay out there for a few seconds to cool down and to give her messed up knee a rest. After a couple of mintues she remembers that she is suposed to break out some news to her parents and family. She smiles to herself.
Shivani talking outloud to herself-Wish me luck Thakur Jee, (and she winks happily)
