This is an article about how tulsi and mihir's duplicates were used in Dwarka.

Mihir, Tulsi copies used in Dwarka

THE ORIGINALS: Tulsi (Smriti Z Iraani) and Mihir
(Ronit Roy)

Even though the real Tulsi (Smriti Z Iraani) and Mihir (Ronit Roy) couldn't make it for a shoot of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in Dwarka, their duplicates did.

Due to the July 26 deluge in Mumbai, Smriti had to abandon her travel plans; Ronit was asked not to join the unit because of Smriti's absence.

The sequence to be shot was that of Tulsi recovering from her illness and going for a pilgrimage to Dwarka with Mihir.

When contacted, Smriti said, "Due to the heavy rains in Maharashtra and Gujarat, the travel plans made by the unit were cancelled. I am saddened that the crew left last minute without me, as I was not only looking forward for the shoot but also the darshan at Dwarka."

Producer Ekta Kapoor added, "We did have some problems with dates due to the torrential rains, but I wanted to incorporate Dwarka in the show. So I went ahead with the duplicates."

Hundreds of Kyunki fans were disappointed when they found out that instead of the real actors, duplicates had come to shoot the sequence.

When the news of the crew being in the area spread, people started pouring in from everywhere. Eyewitnesses said people tore the autographs the duplicates gave them when they realised they weren't the real actors.

Mihir: Mahesh Deshmukh (Munna)

Mahesh is from Uttar Pradesh and has been playing Mihir's duplicate for a long time. He says he has shot almost equally for the number of episodes that Ronit has shot.

Previously, he has worked as Ajay Devgan's duplicate in Pyar To Hona Hi Tha. Mahesh says he's waiting for a wife like Tulsi – till then, he's going to be a bachelor.

Tulsi: Rekha Jadhav

Rekha has been a Smriti duplicate for the last three years. She recently got married, but refuses to talk about her husband.

She says that after Smriti joined the BJP, her work has started increasing and she is called in to shoot more often. Rekha says it's her moral responsibitity to retain the high standards set by Smriti in her performance as Tulsi.

Hey, but the duplicates dont even look anything close to the originals. How cum, none of us figured in the videos!!! 😕 😕 😕

yeah....i think they used them in the long shots and the in the shots where the faces are not shown.....did any of u notice that Tulsi is looking thin these days??I ahve noticed her hands really thin..she even started wearing shorthand blouses...may be thats not her...may be thats her dupe.

i seriously think this article is fake!(no offence)
its ben posted up before but those dupes do NOT look ANYTHING like the orignals.......the smriti duplicate looks ugly!........n i think smriti has lost weight.....i dont think its the dupe with the thin fingers n the short blouses......im very very sure the dupes r used only in the long shots....or it wud b very obvious~!.....n waisay bhi they dont look nethin like them AND their voices r diff......so they dont hav speakin parts.....coz it looks reeli obvious wen the orignals dub stuff for the dupes
