2nd...to answer your quesition, as a mother, I would do anything to protect my kids and loved ones, but if I know they did a crime on the intent to harm someone and it was not an accident, I would not protect them because if I did that what is to stop them from doing it again. You will always love them but that person they hurt has a family also and for that family they would want justice just like you would want if the tables were turned. Tough quesition I just hope no one would ever have to go through this. GOOD QUESITION !!!!

to answer your question- i would say if the crime was really horrendous like- murder, rape, torture........ then by no chance would i personally support the criminal!!!!! no matter how much i love him! but if the crime is something more like a mischief~ then i would let time take its course!
