No, it's nothing like that. It is true that my character in Kesar will be dying, but I didn't decide to quit. At the moment, I'm doing both Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kavyanjali. But the production house feels that I cannot devote enough time to both the serials. That is why they have decided to end my track in Kesar. The death sequence will be shot very soon.

Is time management a problem with you?

I can manage my time well, but it's the production house who cannot manage its time. If given an option, I could also do another serial. I have not asked them to terminate my track in Kesar. It's completely their call. They want me to spend more time in Kyunki and Kavyanjali.

But your track in Kavyanjali did not start as a prominent one?

Initially I had a very small part to play in Kavyanjali. There were times when I did not have a single scene in an episode. But gradually it has grown to be something very prominent. The same happened with Kyunki... I started off with a small role and then it grew to what it is today.

Do you feel you can recreate the Karan magic as Yug Mittal in Kavyanjali?

The introduction of any new character in a serial is always small. It all depends on the audience. If they feel drawn towards the character, it grows gradually. If the same happens with the character of Yug Mittal, probably it can become more prominent.
