this was great writing... I am a lil confused about the story.. but the part on its own was very well written.. great work!

Chap 5

So far: Poorab has been beaten up badly, sumi goes to the hospital and a man comes claiming he is poorab's dad and has the same blood group…Ab age…

Sumedha turns to look at the man who just claimed to be her brothers father…
Sumi: Kya? Apka beta?
Man: Mera Matlab hai, mera beta agar iske jagah hota to , mein tab-bhi yahi karta..
Sumi: Ap baat ko badal kyon rahe hain?
Man: Nahin beta, baas ise dekhakar mujhe apne bete ki yaad agayi..
Sumi: Accha…to apka blood group B –ve hai?
Man: hain beta, mein yahain par blood dene aya tha, to tum logoin ki baat cheet sun li…
Sumi looks unconvinced but decides to go with what the old man says…the old man goes to with the nurse to donate the blood…Sumi stands there wondering..suddenly something strikes her and she turns and calls out for the man..
Sumi: Apne apna naam nahi batay?
Man: Naam se kya ata jata hai beta..bas dil ka rishta hi kaam ata hai..mujhe chacha bulla lo, agar tumhara man kare to…

He smiles and leaves with the nurse while Sumi stands there stunned…and confused..
Her cell rings and she sees it's from her Mom…she gets scared..lets the cell ring on and doesn't pick up the phone…She keeps thinking to herself..
Sumi: I know you did this, who did this, but he does not know that he did the biggest mistake of his life by harming my family…Poorab is my dearest and this shouldn't have happened to him, now you will see what Sumi can and will do, she is not weak and she will not bend down to your words!
She promises to this to herself , signs out of the hospital and leaves for home…
She goes out to catch a taxi and notices someone following her..she turns back, but does not find anyone, she waits at the bus stand for the bus, constantly feeling an eye on her, she pretends to have dropped something and bends down to pick it up..slowly turns her head and in the distance notices a guy clad in black sitting on an idling bike..she stands up and thinks that she has seen that face somewhere, but is not able to put a finger on where and when..she quickly changes her plans of catching a bus and hurries into a taxi waiting near by and tells the driver to leave. As her taxi leaves, she turns back to see the biker guy turn his bike and follow them.She starts to panic now, she tells the driver to merge into the busy traffic rather than take any short cut, the driver does so she pulls out her compact powder pack opens it and tries to see through the reflection in the mirror if the guy is still following..she notice him being behind a car and beside a auto..she notices him turn his head and quickly bends her head down, pays the driver and gets out in the
Middle of the road and sits in another auto and tells the driver to take a shorter route to her house..she turns to her side,with her face covered in her dupatta to see her taxi leave and the bike follow it without any suspicion, but she notices the license plate and the letter AR on the bike..she notes both down on her palm with a pen.
By the time Sumi reaches home, it's almost 9pm and everyone at home is worried…as she enters the house..Sid sees her and tells her to stop..she looks scared and comes to where everyone is sitting..
Sid: Kya time ho raha hai Sumi?
Sumi: Wohh bhaiya..kuch kaam tha college mein..
Ranbeer: Sumi beta..yeh koi waqt hai ghar ane ka? Na koi khabar na koi phone? Tumhari Mom ne phone bhi kiya tha tumhein?
Sid: Papa, apke pyaar ne hi ise bigad ke rakha hai!! Koi kuch nahi kahta hai issee..aur mein, 23 ka hokar bhi daant khata rahta huin!! Kya zamana agaya hai!!
Sumi sighs that the situation went off coolly and comes and sits with them in the hall…
Namrata: Sumi beta, khana laga rahi huin, hath muha dhole, sabhi tera intezaar kar rahe the..
Sumi: Ji mom..
She leaves for her room..Ranbeer goes back to reading his paper and Sid looks up towards the stairs as Sumi walks towards her room, lost in her thoughts..Sid gets up and goes behind her..obviously not realizing that Sid was behind her, she gets startled as Sid comes from behind, holds her hand and takes her to the common study room…Sumi tries hard to take Sid's hands off her..Sid takes her into the room and closes the door behind him…
Sumi: yeh kya badtamezi hai!Chodo mujhe…
Sid gives one slap to her..
Sumi quitens down…shocked..
Sid: bhai se kaise baat karte hai, tameez nahi hai?? Aur yeh kaisa ravaiya hai tera aj kal ha?
Sumi: Kya kiya maine..
Sid: Tujhe lagta hai, mujhe maloom nahi tune aaj kya kiya?? Jhoot bola, who bhi Baba ke samne..
Sumi keeps looking down and tears run down her face..Sid sees her crying and softens up a bit..
Sid holds her face up..
Sid: Sorry? Tu janti hai na mujhe jhoot bilcul pasand nahi..ab baat sach kya hai..
Sumi: bhaiya..mein ..wohh…
Namrata calls out from downstairs..
N: Siddhu, Sumi, khana lag gaya hai..
Sid: Hain Ma, Aya…Sumi, sun, aj ke baad agar tune kabhi jhoot bola na, to ye thapad, mein nahi, Papa denge tujhe..
Sumi begins to say something..
Sid: Ab chal, khane chal..
He leaves her in the room and goes downstairs..Sumi cries her lungs out silently, with her mouth covered and gets flash backs of Poorab…and thinks it's only a matter of time before everyone comes to know of the truth…She wipes her tears and goes to her…
Sumi: Ma , mein abhi ayi..ap log baitho..
And she goes to her room to get fresh..

In Mukherjee house, Anirban is in his room, working on his laptop, the phone in the house rings…From outside the hall, Ani's Mom, Suparna is watching TV..
Su: Kya moosibat hai! Jab kahani mein twist ana hota hai, mere ghar mein aja ta hai!!Oye Ani, phone ta tol na (They are a bengali house, hence the Bengali part.."Hey Ani, take the call")
Ani having already taken the call, covers the mouth piece and shouts back..
Ani: uthaliya Ma, ap bhi na! Ghar ko serial bana rakha hai!
And goes back to talking on the phone
Ani: hello? Kaun Bol raha hai?
A lady on the other side of the phone speaks up..
Lady: Hello, Mishra enterprises?
Ani gets stunned for a sec at the sweetness of her voice and the innocence it exuberates!
Lady: hello?? Koi hai?
Ani: ji, sorry this is not Mishra enterprises…
Lady: Oh, I am so sorry, I think mein ne galat number mila diya hai…
While talking to her, he quickly searches online for the particular enterprise and gets hold of the right number…
Lady: Hello? Anyways Ok, thanks and bye
Ani: hello, hello, ek second..
Lady: Ji? Kahiye..
Ani: apke paas ek pen aur paper hai?
Lady: Dekhiye, mere paas fizul ki batein karne ka time nahi hai..thanks,
Ani: Correct number hi de raha tha apko, Mishra enterprises ka..par koi nahi..
The lady seems to have felt embarrassed…
Lady: Oh I am sorry, mein assume kar liya ki..
Ani: Ki mein bhi un lucche lafangoin ki tarah apko apna number de raha huin? Number dene ki zaroorat nahi hogi mujhe, apne khud hi to call kiya tha na..
Lady: I am so sorry,
Ani without saying anything tells the number..
Lady: thank you..Ap jaise bahut kum hai is duniya mein..Thanks again.
Ani: Well, apko agar thank you hi kahna hai..to ap kal panch baje, coffee house mein milkar bhi kah sakte hai..
Lady: Arundhati..blind dates par nahi jati..
Ani: Anirban apka intezaar karega…
And they keep the phone down, both smiling to themselves in each end..
Ani: Arundhati…jaisa awaz, waisa naam..dono hi confused!!..and goes back to his work…only to keep thinking about his date next day..something told him, he had bargained for more than he had asked for..

I am sorry,i dont get it, if an update does not have KN, tht means no one would comment? it is a mixed FF, there will be HGT parts too..pretty soon...
