When tripti 1st entered i swear her name was tripti; now its like trupti!!! What is with the script writers??? Did they suddenly forget her name???? I mean even in awards shows when she was a nominee for best jethani or whatever it said Trupti!!! Everyone even called her Tripti in the show until recently its Trupti!!! I know that the virani's are to be gujju, and trupti is a gujju name; did they jus notice that trupti is gujju so without anyone noticing lets change it from tripti to trupti???😆 So now i am confused. IS SHE TRIPTI OR TRUPTI????

It is just pronunciation. Tripti(or Trupti) is a Hindi word, which means "satisfaction". North Indians pronounce it like Tripti and south Indians pronounce it like Trupti.

Since this a story of a Gujarati family, we gujus pronounce it as "Trupti". I dunno why the pronouncing kept changing all the time. May be the persons who wrote the script were diffrent at times. Hopefully now it makes sense. 😊
