Chap 9

The following happened between 6-7 pm…

Lakshya's words were ringing in KT's ears…she stared out of the window of her room, and watched two kids play..she remember how she and Laksya used to indulge in playful romance..and all the times she misunderstood him..and the day he actually proposed to her…and then when she found out that she was also Ekalavya's love interest..and to the day when her life crashed , her hopes of a life with the one person she cared for the most..and then she felt guilty..her guilt of having her love and her friend..seeped in..
She had hurt unknowingly the two people who she cared for the most..and she knew she had to correct it..it was now or never…she goes to Lakshya's room to give him gahi shakkar before he leaves for the trip, but doe not find him..she gets sad and leaves…

A man is waiting in a black sedan outside SN, he waits in patience for his prey to come out… As the jeep leaves the house..the twilight setting sun lents a glitter on the tinted windows of the car, as the man in the sedan careens his head to see who was inside the leaving car..convinced that his prey isn't out yet..he sits tight in his car..almost like a hawk perched ready to succumb it's prey…then another car comes out…and he immediately follows it…after a while the car stops in front of a store and a woman gets out…finding the time apt, two men jump out of the following car kidnap her…to the horror of the driver and the kidnapee…all she remembers are those piercing eyes of her assailant. and then she blanks out…

Saahil, is preparing for his trip..he gets up to get the files for the trip…he turns to look at the clock and hurries as he finds he is gonna be late…he picks up his watch, opens the night stand draw to get his keys, something catches his eyes…he pics up the envelop and finds it addressed to Tripti…He decides to open it..as he begins to pull out the content, he receives a call on his cell…he sees it's Ganga..and thinks of the happening of the morning…there was an awkwardness…
S: Hello…
G: Hello Saahil…
And there was silence,which spoke volumes…like all the nights they lay wide awake thinking about each other..and the time they had lost…but Saahil's voice, cracked them back to reality..
S: Ganga..mein baas tayaar hi ho raha tha..(he answered her while trying to see what inside the enevelop, but gave up and put it in his bag..)
G: Saahil, kya tum mujhe pick up kar sakte ho?
S: Ganga, aaj subah ke liye..I am..
G: Don't be Saahil…baas bhool jao ki aisa kuch hua tha…mujhe apna kabu rakhna chahiye..I am sorry Saahil..
S: Tum kyon maafi mang rahi ho Ganga…
G: Saahil, hum in sab ke bare mein baad mein baat kar sakte hain…mein tumhe Lonavala mein milti huin..
S: aur tumhein pick up?
G: Nahi, mein akele hi chali jaungi….
S: Ok, Ganga…mein tumhein baad mein milta huin…
And before he could say something, Ganga cut the phone..
Saahil felt hopelessly helpless..he wanted her back in his life..and yet did not know what to do..he felt trapped and he felt frustrated…and he felt angry.. He tries to find where tripti is, and not able to find her…he just packs his bag and leaves…outside SN, he finds Tulsi in the garden..
T: Saahil beta..
S: Badi Ma..mein lonavala ja raha huin..
T: Accha..dhyaan se jana beta…thakurji tumahre saath hain..
Saahil says bye and leaves in his silver sedan….
At the same time, Ganga gets into her car and leaves too..

The following takes place between 7-9 pm…

Laksya, having been the first one to leave the house, was far ahead in the road. Towards Lonavala..what he didn't realize is his gas running out and with no petrol station nearby…his jeep was as good as nothing…He stopped his car on the side of the highway..and started flagging down cars…no one stopped..frustrated he called Saahil..
S: Arey Lakshya, kahain ho tum?
L: Papa, wohh meri gaadi mein,jaldi mein petrol bharna bhool gaya, aur ab gaadi ruk gayi..
S: Accha,tum ab kahain ho?
L: Mein Mumbai se 20 km door huin…
S: Theek hai, tum apne gaadi mein raho, mein a raha huin…fir hum saath chaleinge..
L: Theek hai Papa..
Saahil calls up Ganga..
G: Hain Saahil Bolo?
S: Lakshya ka gaadi kharab ho gaya hai…mein uske pick up karke tumse Lonavala mein milta huin..
G: Ek kaam karte hai saahil, tum , abhi kahain ho? Agar Mumbai se nikle nahi ho to, mujhe Saroj road par milo, kuch papers discus karna tha..aur driver ko lakshya ko pick up karne bhej do..
Saahil agrees…

In another car, Rishabh is calculating all the money he has swiped off the investors and how many more he will be added to his account, as he signs the deal..he looks at his new passport, and thinks "Abhishek Chatterjee" will be a good man…not conniving, and not a con man..and smiles at himself…he heres muffled cry for help from the back of his car..and turns around.and talks to the tied up and gagged person sitting behind…
R: Oh…tum comfortable nehi ho kya??
R: Arey tum kaise bologi, tumhara to muh band hai..baas kuch ghantoin ki hi baat hai..fir tum azaad ho jaogi….sweet heart!
And laughs out hysterically…

Saahil meets Ganga at Saroj road, Ganga picks up Saahil, and Saahil tells the driver to go pick up Lakshya and drive him to Lonavala..The driver leaves with Saahil's car..the car following his car, stops, not knowing whts happening. The driver of the following car,calls some one…
Driver: Sir, us gaadi mein jo tha, wohh to utar gaya, lekin, us gaadi mein, abhi bhi shayad koi hai, kyon ki wohh highway ki taraf nikal gayi..
Callee: Kaun utra? Kuch pata hai?
Driver: Andhere mein nahi dikha sir.
Callee: Tum logoin se koi kaam nahi hota…ab us gaadi ko hi follow karo..aur jaisa kaha hai, waisa karo…mumbai cross karne ke baad..smajhe?

Saahil and Ganga leave in Ganga's car. Ganga is driving the car, and Saahil looks at her from the passenger seat… the awkward silence between them is broken only by the occasional honks of the car..until Ganga breaks the silence..
G: Saahil, tumne papers check kar liye haina
S: Ganga, mujhe samjh nahi araha hai ki, hamne aone price kam kyon nahi ki?
G: Kyon ki, yah deal utni kaam kimat mein sign nahi ki ja sakti.. aur mujhe pura yakeen hai, ki yah Rishabh malhotra, koi jana mana industrialist nahi hai.
S: Yah tum kya ka rahi ho Ganga?
G: Sahi kah rahi huin…wohh kaun hai, kahain se hai, yah saari details, Sharma ji lekar hamein lonaval mein milenge…tab pata chalega…ki asli kaun aur nakli kaun..
S: Ganga…agar tum bura na mano to, ek baat kahuin..
G: Hain bolo..
S: Wohh…mujhe maloom hai , ki tum aaj bhi mujhse..bahut naaraz ho..meine tumhare dil dukhaya…janta huin mein, ki mujhse bahut badi galti hui hai..
G: Saahil..in saab batoin ka ab kya fayada..jo ho gaya so ho gaya…
S: Nahi Ganga, mein apni galti ka prayaschit karna chata huin…ek mauka to do…mujhe apni galti ka ahsas hai..
G: Galti…hmm…aur mere bachoin se meri doori?? Jis tarah nakul mujhse nafrat karta hai, uska kya Saahil?? Jante ho Saahil..pyaar karna aur jatana bahut assan hai…usse sacche dil se nibhana..utna hi muskeel..sach to ye hai..ki chahe mera dil kuch bhi kahe…shayad mein tum par fir kabhi bharosa nahi kar paungi…
Saahil looks down sad and upset..and they drive in complete silence…

The driver picks up Lakshya and drives off towards Lonavala…

The following happens beween 10-10:15 pm

In the pitch of the night…the highway had twists and turns…the driver blinded by the blazing lights of the on coming truck as he made a sharp turn, lost control and… hit the truck, head on…and went tumbling down the side of the road...until it blew up into an inferno…passing by cars couldn't do much...but just look on in horror…

Yeah, I liked 24, and thought it would suit better on this part...keep tuned...next part will come out soon...😳
