"J.R 'sniffs' Tulsi(Juhi?) out"
Short Update:
- Baa & Co. have a little "pooja".
- Tulsi is less than thrilled about going to the party, in fear of J.R, obviously.
- Joydeep *finally* gets his makeover; Bhumi finds herself staring at him.
- J.R and his cats go out to buy ice-cream where J.R spots Eklavya and decides to follow him, again.
- Finally, Tulsi (?) and J.R come face-to-face.
KT is sitting near the window, sulking. Baa sees her in her "dreamy, sulky" state and asks her if she's alright. KT tells her that she was wondering how to keep peace when things go horribly wrong. Just then some annoying woman's voice starts. On the TV, she's talking about some havan. By the way, the woman in the advertisement on TV was Sunita Menon – publicity gimmick, no doubt. Baa mentions that and tells her to bring "Mangal Dhoop". Tulsi brings in a package that has Kekta's face on the cover. A cheap, VERY cheap publicity gimmick. Mihir gives her the first cheque they earned. Baa blesses him. So they have the 'pooja' – for lack of better term. Baa wishes aloud for the essence of love and purity to remain in the house.
As soon as Nakul puts the phone down, Sanjhi comes rushing into the office. Nakul informs her of a party he must attend but he can't decide what to wear. Sanjhi whines but Nakul convinces her to help him. Sanjhi asks him where he's going and he tells her he's going to a perfume launch. Nakul tells her that he lacks sense of style. Sanjhi picks up some clothes, gives it to him and starts searching for a tie but she finds some dress. She tells him it's lovely and agrees to go with him.
Tulsi is getting ready when a hand touches her shoulder. Tulsi freaks out. Mihir tells her that no one can harm her as long as he's there. He conveniently forgets that he has, more than once, been the cause of her misery, but anyways, he goes on to the extent of calling J.R mad. Tulsi replies that she cares for Mihir…that he might hurt someone else in the process of saving her.
Mad Cathouse – J.R is talking to his cats, as usual, and tells them to go to sleep.
The party has just started. Introductions are in order. Mihir wonders aloud if J.R is planning to come to the party, uninvited. Billy reassures him J.R is putting his cats to sleep and when he's doing that then, no one can disturb him. He tells them to enjoy. Tulsi is looking slightly apprehensive.
Billy introduces the perfume with a mighty well speech. He informs them of the show that is organized for their entertainment. Some dude is dancing to the song from Aks. Bhumi seems to be intrigued by the charming "servant" – who is indeed the guy dancing to that song. Tulsi tries to make Bhumi jealous and succeeds. Bhumi is fuming by the time Tulsi leaves. Bhumi is still staring but seems to have gotten it better than Daksha who is so shocked that the dhokla is inches away from her mouth. Daksha wonders how, when Joydeep got a makeover. She asks Tulsi to pinch her. Tulsi tells her it's not a dream and walks away. Joydeep is smiling, shyly. Daksha walks – no, no, waltzes – over to where Himmat is standing. She tells him to take Joydeep's lead. She advertises Manish Malhotra.
Mad Cathouse again. Someone rings the bell. J.R gets up from his chair and goes to open the door, to see some guy. The dude asks him which camera is malfunctioning. The dude tells him that the cassette is finished and wonders if he should "rewind" it. J.R tells him to do it silently. He's retracking the yarn when he sees Tulsi's face on his screen for the camera. Needless to say, he's shocked. The dude tells him it's done. J.R tells him to get lost, for fear that his "children" will wake up. They do wake up, by the time the dude leaves.
In the middle of the party, the excited Tulsi seems to have gotten apprehensive. She talks to Mihir about leaving but Mihir convinces her to stay till the product launches. Billy introduces another performance by some Aprajita Gupta – or something of the likes. She starts singing and people turn to their other halves and start dancing: Mihir-Tulsi, Damini-Gautam, Daksha-Himmat, Nakul-Sanjhi. KT subtly approaches Lakshya and questions him as to why he's standing alone. Lakshya asks her what he should do. KT points to a girl and Lakshya states that there's a guy standing there. KT, being the cheeky girl she is, implies that Lakshya is homosexual – which earns her mock-glare. KT introduces the girl but Lakshya is anything but interested. So they start their "woe-is-me" conversation again and it ends where it usually does. Yes ladies and gents, the song!! "Jeene kay ishare". KT tells him that he should go to "satsang" with Baa to find himself an oldie.
J.R is driving to get his cats ice-cream. Weirdo. I suppose he knows the flavor each cat wants as well. He's about to get into his car when he sees Eklavya, again and decides to follow him, again.
Billy repeats his opening speech just as Eklavya comes into the party, J.R hot on his heels. Just as Billy introduces the perfume, everyone starts clapping but the clapping ceases when Tulsi sees her face on the model. J.R sniffs his way to Tulsi. Everyone is surprised. J.R gives a "meow" of laughter, laced with malice. Everyone seems shocked or creeped out. J.R is STILL laughing. Evil bugger.
Episode ends.

Personal Feedback: So, the basic major event was Joydeep's makeover. Pretty good, if you ask me, look-wise. Only needs to develope more spine now and an attitude. J.R-Tulsi-Juhi drama is downright annoying. KT-Lakshya looked cute, if not for the "woe-is-me" attitude.
