TRP - This Year vs. Last Year

It seems that after good and famous actors left Balaji's serials, the newcomers cannot act or perform as well as those in the past (e.g. Smriti Irani as Tulsi in the past).

Furthermore, the story of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has deteriorated tremendously, and nothing seems to make sense anymore. In fact, nonsense started when instead of Lakshya, Eklavya married KT. And from thereon, this serial has lost any modicum of logic or sense whatsoever.

Also, these days the serials are boring. Compare that to one year ago. One year ago, the story-line was interesting, the acting of main characters was also very powerful, and overall, it was fun.

I fail to understand why Ektaa Kapoor has destroyed her own creation(s). Anyway, I have a question:

Have the ratings (TRPs) of Ektaa's serials fallen too much (as compared with last year)?

I completely agree with you. Infact in today's Bombay Times paper Nivedita Basu the creative head of balaji telefilms is trying to hoodwink us and saying that the TRP's have gone up after Gautami's entry and Smriti's exit. I am sure she is talking about the TRP's of the day Smriti died and the following day out of curiosity people wanting to see who the new Tulsi is, after that there has been a downward slide for sure.

the story has been big blooper now a days, means no interest to watch only eku & 3 bahus dominating is there all for money.. same old wine in new bottle 😡 i hope trps should go extremely down then only ekta understood that we won't love to see this bloopers daily 😡 😡

I don't get what they are trying to convey with the present story line. Tulsi knew that the bahus had turned evil and along with Eklavya had driven her out of her SN. Her sons and husband too did not protest when she was being declared mentally unsound.. now after all this.. why is she behaving like the sacrficial lamb (read dumbest person, hard to believe she was once a woman who took on Mandira and Meera and taught them a lesson for hurting her family's unity) who knows that her family hardly cares for her?? What is she trying to do thinking her family wants her?? I just don't get it anymore.. the day KT was married to Eklavya, I stopped watching this show (still only read updates sometimes).. but with Gautami's entry I felt may be just may be they will show some improvement in the storyline.. but NO! It still SUCKS! 🤢 Show me one woman who will go back into that hellish Temple of Doom* (c* Nimmi) after being ill treated and thrown out the way Tulsi was? 🤢 If she's doing this for the love of her sons.. I think they are better off without the three evil bahus than with them.. Personally I think the story would have made more sense if Tulsi gave the bahus a taste of their own medicine.. and her sons a little bit of that too!

she shudve been a little revengeful..n make the bahuz pay for what they did..and realize their mistakes!

the worst thing was kt gettin married to eklavya..since then the show has lost its charm for me atleast..for a change ekta shud have let a couple get married for the first and only time..instead of repeating the same things in every serial!

I ahve stopped watching Kyunki for the last two months...I only read the updates, and that also only sometimes...It is hard to believe that Tanya and DAmini will pair up wiht Tripti and put Tulsi out..that's not how the characters were the last twenty years..how come the sudden change?
