Karishma refuses to play an older lady

The mega serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is close to taking a generation leap. In a few months the characters of Ganga, Saahil, Gautam, Damini etc will be ageing gracefully. But is the younger lot of Virani family ready to use whiteners and wear glasses to look old enough to play parents to twenty-year-olds?
Karishma Tanna alias Indu of Kyunki... says that there is no way that she will agree playing a older woman. Tanna who has also worked in Balaji's Koi Dil Mein Hai as a lead actress is currently playing a pivotal part in Zee TV's Paalkhi. "I don't want to restrict myself by playing older characters. I don't think I'll be a part of Kyunki... unit when the leap happens," she discloses. The actress who has been flooded with film offers says that she intends to take up films eventually. "But right now, I'm enjoying my stint in Paalkhi. I'm getting a great response for it."

yah it would be kind of wierd to see her play Indu after the leap...Indu is kind of foolish and childish and karishma does a great job....but seeing her as a mature women would be wierd...she is the only the one thats funny in kuki...

i love indu.....

i also liked her in koi dil mein hai...she looked absolutely gorgeous....
