Yep they are, coz they have taken their wows around the fire (the saat pheras) and the Eku has tied the mangalsutra (equivalent of the wedding ring in Western culture) around Kt's neck.. the only thing that remains is the sindoor which depending on what part of India you come from may or may not have much significance (in Maharashtrians it is not a ritual to put sindoor) so once the pheras and mangalsutra are done you are pretty much declared man and wife ...

But this is K world.. they may defy tradition and say they are not married too .. Who knows? Is there logic in K world ever??

I agree, as long as the vows are taken the marriage is pretty much finalized...cuz that is when you make the agni god your witness and swear those vows to each other and all the mantras are said... most other indian wedding like Sikh don't have sindoor...but they do have the pheras..the vows...similarly western wedding...have vows spoken to each other...

But like everyone else is saying...k-world who knows...

Well, the Viraani family is Gujarati..and the sinndoor is pretty important in the Gujarati culture..but so are the Saath Pheras..and Mangaulsutras..but there are other ceremony's that also need to be completed but of course Ekta won't go in so much depth unless she needs it for the script.😳
