You have seen rape in Ekta Kapoor's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi before, now get ready to see it again.

Nandini (Gauri Pradhan) suffered marital rape at the hands of her then husband Ansh (Akashh Deep Saigal).

Now, Krishna Tulsi (Mouni Roy) too will be raped in a Holi sequence, Damini style. The rape occurs when Krishna Tulsi passes out after consuming loads of bhaang.

But who is the culprit? Balaji is not willing to disclose his identity.

Nivedita Basu, creative head of Kyunki, says, "That will not be revealed for about two weeks, but Eklavya will be accused.

The Virani parivar will discover a few things that will lead them to believe Eklavya is the culprit.

Nandini will also influence the Viranis into believing that he is to blame. Tulsi (Smriti Iraani) will have a major confrontation with Eklavya, which will drive him crazy.

His will then lose patience and turn negative. This will be a turning point in the serial. Later, Mayank (Rahul Lohani) will be accused. But I can't tell you who the real culprit is."

Not titillating

Meanwhile, Krishna Tulsi too cannot pinpoint who has committed the heinous crime. Basu explains that Krishna Tulsi will be in a state of shock.

"Also, she had passed out before the rape happened. But yes, she will remember it later, and this is when the audience will know the identity of the culprit."

When contacted, Mouni admitted, "When I first heard about the rape scene, I developed cold feet. I was reluctant to do it.

Then I was narrated the entire track and told how they had shot Nandini's rape scene, and I remembered seeing it too. I was convinced that it wasn't meant to titillate, so I agreed."
