Joydeep-Bhoomi = Akshay-Katrina in NL

After watching Namaste London last night, I realized something. The basic plot of the movie resembles Joydeep and Bhoomi's track to an extent.

Katrina and Akshay's characters had totally opposite personalities. Thus, she couldn't stand him...but he was totally smitten by her. Later on she was forcibly married to him. The same thing happened with Bhoomi and Joydeep. Katrina considered her so-called marriage a farce, just like Bhoomi. Akshay loved his wife unconditionally despite knowing that she didn't love him back, just like Joydeep. Katrina continued seeing her British boyfriend even after she was married to Akshay. Bhoomi continues to see Abhir in spite of her marriage to Joydeep. Katrina refused to sleep with her boyfriend until she and Akshay were divorced. Similarly, Bhoomi turned Abhir down when he wanted to get physical with her.

Of course, the detailed plot of the movie was vastly different from the Joydeep-Bhoomi storyline...but I hope Bhoomi ends up falling for Joydeep the way Katrina fell for Akshay. Joydeep needs a makeover first though, because Akshay was never shown to be a geek/nerd. His character was presentable enough for the heroine to fall for him.

I guess .. but i still want Bhumi and Abhir to be together .

I have to say the opposite. I think Bhoomi doesnt deserve JD. She is headstrong, but maybe if she is really has a heart she can change him. He is not mayank not mentally retarded and knows what real love is to an extent to do the decorations of her wedding when she is about to marry another man. I think he needs someone to believe in him. He is brave to an extent that he saved her from psycho Abhir when he tried to kidnap her, wouldnt have attempted if he didnt have some sort of guts. I think he just needs some self confidence, which Bhoomi has too much of I think if she wanted to she could have such a positive influence on his life. Her weaknesses or his strengths, his ability to respect his elders, have pleothra of patience, generosity and kindness, no bitterness despite the fact that he has no family of his own and is treated like a servant to an extent.
I dont see him as someone who doesnt have self respect, maybe he doesnt talk back because he has been adopted into a family where Tripti is his so called mother, god can you imagine what that must have been like for JD. She treats him like dirt, and he is probably not used to talking back, because he is too grateful for atleast not being homeless. When his so called mother doesn't treat him like he is a part of the family, why would Manthan treat him any different, when Manthan choses to not give any respect for Nakul who he is blood related to. He only has got a self confidence problem that is not something that Bhoomi cant fix if she chose to notice all his great qualities. 😃

the personalities maybe the same. but akshay is more hotter than joydeep n katrina is more cuter n pretteir than bhoomi

i think that they are somewhat alike

but the biggest similarity between the two couples is that both akshay and joydeep are simple and know right from wrong unlike katrina and akshay 😊

overall i think... the reason y bhoomi hates him... cuz she waznt married to the man of her choice.....since she expected to hv a husband...who is mentally, pysically strong.....sumone dat can be daring n powerful.....joydeep really has to get those skills for bhoomi to respect him!!

Bhoomi hated JD long before she got married to him. It is not some new found hate, now it is compounded over the fact that she is married to him. I think you guys are right that she wants to be someone who is her equal. JD is not any less of a man. I am not sure what a definition of a man is, but just because you are lacking in self confidence doesn't necessarily make you a inferior human being. I am not sure Bhoomi knows who Abhir really is, how can you be completely be in love with someone if they are keeping such big secrets as Abhir has and who is father is. I think she is know hanging around him more or less to spite her own father and especially Tulsi.
Well I am on JD's side. But I think ekta will make him sort of negative in the future because of these continued insults from Bhoomi. Then lets see who is chasing who. 😆
