Karan is a terrible father; worst of all

Sorry to say this and burst your bubble, but Karan is the worst father out of the Virani household.

He had the sanskar and power of Tulsi, the brains of Mihir and the humility of Ba, but, he was so lost in love (I don't want to hear any excuses... because there are many stupid ones), that he was unable to bring up his children in the right way.

Case 1: Bhoomi

Karan always saw a reflection of Nandini in Bhoomi and therefore, took special care of her and made sure that she is free from error and all her wishes are granted. Like all fathers, he loved her and never made her feel as if she is an orphan.

But, because of this "love shower" and sympathy towards her, he was unable to be strict with her, which made her a freak, who doesn't care about anyone except herself and insults everyone, including Karan's idol, Mother India Tulsi Maiyya.

Case 2: Manthan

Drugging a person's drink, insulting poor people, ridciuling elders and ignoring the commanding is the nature of Manthan Virani. He doesn't care if he is right or wrong, he just does what he "thinks" (when he doesn't have a brain) is good for him.

Tanya took care of him and pampered him alot, but in the end, his father, Karan had the most impact on him. Karan was unable to make his son like himself and due to that, a girl is raped and Manthan's erratic behavior has made him an enemy within the house, where people like Tripti and Mohini are plotting against him.

I think he overloved Bhoomi that he didn't realize that he was spoiling her and giving her TOO much freedom.

As for Manthan, Karan didn't even give the poor guy attention and so he's in for lack of love by his father.

Yeah I agree with you to a point, but Tanya had most of the control over the kids. Karen is at fault for not helping her raise the kids, he was to busy building his empire and deweling over his lose, Nands and Tulsi(when he thought she was dead) to ever care about what was going on at home. He thought Tanya would teach them right, so to me both are to be blamed...more Karen for the past on how he should have raised them, but now Tanya because she is not helping him fix the problem but making it worse by favoring her kids for her own benifit....

well meera was a big factor when those two were growin up. also karan had alot to deal with. his mother died, seeing that thw whole household changed , nandani locked in jail.

and spoiling your girl with love isnt bad. i mean prachi is loved soo much byher father but wat i think karan did was inverdently gave her love and freedom and that gave meera leverage and she used it to make sure the kids dont become like him or tulsi.

mathan, i dont know about mathan. i dont know how he turned out this way. i mean ALOT of guys are like mathan who grow up in good households but somehow stray thier path and parents have nothng to do with it. i think mahtan saw that the attention bhoomi got was not wat he was gonna get and he never really tried to earn it either. he got that attention from meera and karan probably saw that and got all ticked about it and tanya probaly came in and said ill talk mathan dont be angry with him.


tanya just wanted to be a good mother but she was goin through alot. livin in nandanis shadow and tripti oh lord tripti always yappinn her mouth off. i think she believed that as long as she loved her children and makes sure the children knows they are loved , thats enough.

i think both assumed that livin in the virani house should be enough for the kids to turn out well behaved but agian meera made sure she devided the good from the very vonerable

just my analasis. i say meera was a big factor.

Well it is said that a mother is mainly responsible for bringing up kids not a father. He brings bread in the household, and considering Karan's case he has been more business keen then home. Everytime Karan wants to make something right, Tanya comes in the way and over protects the children. If anyone is responsible, its both parents not just one.

tabassum31noor, I don't think this has anything to do with "jealousy". shriman did make valid points. Karan spoilt Bhoomi rotten and was neglectful of Manthan.

Why is it that not a SINGLE child of Karan's is not "normal"??? I like Bhoomi a lot but she's NOT exactly stable. 😆

Karan may not be the best father but however I do think he loves Bhoomi/Manthan.

I think he was too busy missing his Love(nandani) n singing tere bin?? 😆
