i think he shud be punished.. i knw he iz mentally ill and he didn't intend to do it.. but he iz scaring her again and again and taking her pics, cuming to her room and he even tried to force her @ the party too.. if he iz forgiven thn he might do the same thing again and again thinking tht there iz no consequence of such things.. and because of him, the innocent ppl lyk eklavya are blamed..

he does have a brain of a kid but there is punishment for kids tooo so tht they do not repeat such mistakes again~

Good point ! I never thought about this. It's very much possible. If he has done it once, then it means he has those instincts in him..

I agree that in order to make him realise the intensity of what he has done, and also to prevent it from happening again, he has to be punished or atleast somehow make it clear to him in a way that he understands that it's a strict No-No !! Like how we teach kids when they do things that they aren't supposed to do.

But will punishing him even make him realise that it's a punishment for the act that he committed ?? Especially when he has no idea of what he has done !

I feel the best option is to seek Proffessional Help for him. They would know how to handle this as they might have handled such cases before.
