Some little info, please!

okay, so I only recently started watching this show and have read some updates and watched some old episodes...I had a few questions, if someone could answer them very briefly, it'll be much appreciated. I'm not looking for long answers..just short.

1) I read how before the leap, Karan was the ideal son...I've seen some episodes after the leap and he doesn't look so ideal...I mean, he trusts Bhoomi with everything even if she's wrong, he raised his kids in such a bad way, both are spoilt. howcome? Also, why does he and Sahil hate each other in the early episodes after the leap? Is it really because Karan values his money more too?

2) The new house (shantinaketan), after the leap, looks different...did they change houses on the show or what?

Well, he is still an ideal son. Just not an ideal father. He raised his kids..actually Bhoomi like that. He loves her so much that he spoiled her a bit too much. He barely looked after Manthan as far as we know. Him and Sahil hated each other because Sahil left with Tripti before the leap. Then, Sahil wanted a ''batwara'' in the property. Soo, Karan and Sahil went seperate ways afterwards. Karan pretty much lost faith in life because Tulsi left.

Yea, they said changed houses.
