Bhang is a milk drink with almonds, spices etc.. its often made into an intoxicant by adding cannabis to it. Traditionally very popular in North India for Holi.

the milk drink with almonds and other spices is called thandai. the intoxicant version is called bhang. so says mommy dearest.

i thought that it was that it was a version of opium -- as in a derivative out of poppy -- that was added to make thandai into bhang. dunno where you'd get easy access to cannabis, whereas the opium thing ought to be easier. mommy dearest is being maternally vague about the intoxicant thing. 😆

frankly, between wiki and vague-mom, i'd go with wiki. especially on questions that involve drinks, drugs and other addictive things. 😆

Question is.. SN have underties with druggies kya?? where does Daksha get a full truck load for the party and Manthan some weirdo looking black drugs?? 😉😉😉 How many addicts live in this pavitra temple of Tulsi's?? 2 druggies, one alcoholic.. 😆😆😆

I have a serious doubt that these SN ppl.. grow this in the name of landscaping in their pavitra backyard 😆 Did you not see during Diwali how lovingly Joydeep was trimming the plants, mali watering them 😆😆😆
