i think Mayank is very upset abt his brother's love failure and he hates KT for doing this. As he is mentally ill, he takes up this ste to punish KT. Initially the story reveled was like mayank will take the advantage of his illness and will marry KT..so seems like that line is becoming true now.

i doubt he payed off the doctor at that young age. plus hes gifted in one area , also supprts the fact that he is mentally handicapped. i dont know if he is autistic or not.
