* so, is tripti-mom ever going to learn that manipulating her two lottery tickets is going to be much harder than she thinks?

i wonder if today's display is going to swing nakul more on tripti-mom's side, or is he going to stand up for himself and what he wants?

this is the second time, she's told lakshya to get out of her life and her face. i wonder if he's actually going to do it this time. i get the feeling it'll do wonders for his love life if he's out of shantiniketan just now! 😆

* eklavya's problem today was that he was publicly insulted - a public engagement, that got publicly broken.

this is a guy who all his life has been socially extremely shy and isolated. his exclusion included keeping his heart out of female relationships. he's confused and hurting because of unrequited love. and now he gets everything hung out to dry in the public.

i can understand him majorly ticked off just now, even with all his pure panditry past. i can understand him wanting to lash out at kt today. i hope the writers don't make eklavya want revenge forever after, as in becoming like ansh virani - that wouldn't make sense. 😔

* does eklavya realise that he should be holding damini-mom on the same level as tulsi-daadi for trying to control his life? or is it taken for granted that moms are mere props in front of daadis?

* hmm. mihir-daadu can be very effective when he wants to be. is this the reason why all his grandchildren show him so much respect despite his murky 20-year past relationship with them? can we have more forceful mihir-daadu on the show, please?

* it is confirmed that joydeep is either an alien or a total idiot. on his own little initiative, he brings out a birthday cake for an engagement?? if he didn't want to waste the cake, couldn't he have just had the cake cut in the kitchen and served to the guests?

i'm going with joydeep is an alien - mayank is supposed to be mentally challenged and even he didn't do this!

* personally, i'm with eklavya for having done that hysterical, cake defacing drama. i can understand being that badly provoked.

but why the deadly eye-combat with lakshya? it should've been with kt. 😕

* why, oh why, didn't lakshya open his mouth to say anything to his eklavya bhaiyya today? 😕

* they must have absolute clods as friends and family and associates, these viranis.

after all uncomfortable drama and eklavya exit, i thought it was hysterical that they went through with cake-cutting and eating! if i were a guest in that party, i'd have left a long time ago! around the time that tulsi-daadi had finished with her long reasoning for why eklavya-kt should be engaged, actually.

or maybe the viranis have a reputation for ordering the best party food in town?? 😆

* so. daksha-chachi's cartoon-giri comes with a price - man, was she mean today or what?

she's even more suited to a jodi with manthan than i'd earlier realised! i have a feeling that manthan/bhoomi are going to sign up for lessons from her on Ten Ways to Effectively Use Social Barbs.

* anyone else gets the feeling that lakshya-kt are cursed never to have a sweet, public lovers moment that is filled with joy and light on this show?

for a lakshya-kt engagement show, it was the most perfectly miserable one that they'd created so far. 🤢 if these two ever get to the point of marriage, warn me in advance - i won't watch!

Today was the most ridiculous show post leap! What was with everyone blaming KT and L for? Heck they tried to sacrifice for Eklavya and he turns around and talks revenge?? Poor KT and L must be saying zhak mari aur tumse pyar kiya?

Ok I am with you on this one.. KT-L love declaration was awful and engagement was even more horrible.. it was as if they were put on a guilt trip.. Can't these two not have a normal engagement 2 weeks later when everyone's calmer?? Why should Kt and L be guilty they were ready to sacrifice their love for Eku's happiness!

Ok whats with KT and L cutting Eklavya's birthday cake?? HELLO! Y'all were literally forced to get engaged today (not that they mind any bit) but then it was Eku's birthday too.. why cut his god damn cake??? Obviously he'll feel bad.. I wud too!!

Was it just me or is anyone with me on this.. Nakul the big speech guy, Archita the nalayak traitor and Eku the mahan saint himself knew about this.. then why couldn't anyone open their mouths to say we knew KT-L were an item?? Heck Eku goes on to blame KT??? 😕 😕 😕
Are the writers perpetually drunk lately???

To me today was such a lame ass excuse to turn Eku negative, when there is no premise for it.. He already knew about L-KT, he was about to give KT up, he told KT to tell Tulsi she loves L..

The only good thing in the episode was Tripti getting a sound hearing from Saniya's mom.. 👏 👏


To me today made no darn sense at all! 😕 It could have been handled better and not made into such a stupid episode... 😕

ya, this i agree with you. i was psyched when mihir-daadu turned around and said let's get these two engaged. it's not like they slept together and kt was pregnant or anything - why the engagement at such a dramatically difficult time???

All I want to say is, in the process of Tulsi trying to prevent Eklavya from turning evil, she and KT drove him towards evilness - towards Ansh. Had KT told Tulsi earlier that she loved Lakshya, not Eklavya, Eku might not be facing such a rut, after all, he didn't want to marry KT and I think he was ABSOLUTELY right in thinking so. He can do better than a woman who mopes over her "boyfriend".

I'm really pissed at the 2 Tulsi's. They need to go back to Haridwar and marry a peepal tree.😃 Then the tree will follow all their commands and they can dictate their hearts out. 😛

Dahling.. Ekta's made up her mind.. she's going to make him evil even if a stupid coconut falls from a tree 😕 I think she has some mental problem.. she thinks she's discovered a evilness gene.. Coz all this time she's propagating that Ansh was evil so his son will follow his footsteps too.. regardless of his upbringing.. look at Bhoomi, she's been brought up in overflowing love but turns out to be mental asylum runaway of the Virani family! 😕😕

One more weird thing, Ganga was invited to the party where was she????? She would have slapped Tripti back when she slapped our cweeetie pie Laksh.. Heck I would have slapped Tripti too if I were at the party.. Chudail kahin ki 😡😡

Anyone notice that Lakshya didnt have a single thing to do than look sad, then petrified, give a tiny smile and then disappear after the cake incident...? Didn't have a single dialogue even...It was like he was a fricking hero of a silent movie...

Great post Estee.. and i MUST tell you that I am a regular reader of all your daily posts 'points to ponder' although you may not get to see my replies..

But I really agree with all the points you've made in this one- for a change- I was happy that Mihir acted responsibly and dared to go against Tulsi and support Eku- I really liked that- because earlier on as well, Mihir was not sure of the engagement and he'd asked Tulsi whether she was really sure that the KT-Eku engagement was the right thing to do and what if they are doing the same mistake they did with Ansh?

Now what does TULSI do? She claims that she loves Eku so much that she'll never let him go the Ansh way- well the same Tulsi was wtiness to a broken Eku came back who cried and cried when he told her that the girl he loved loves someone else and she does not even know that he loves her.. now could not Tulsi put the peices together and deduce that the girl Eku was talking about was KT?!!!
