Suave director Ken Ghosh (Fida) and TV actress Riva Bubber are rumoured to be quite the cozy twosome these days.

They've been spotted together at various hotspots across the city and most recently raised eyebrows at the launch of Bubber's pet store a fortnight ago.

Good friends

Says a source, "Ken and Riva are dating. They've been spotted in public many times getting romantic with each other, but are very careful about maintaining appearances. Ken is on the verge of getting a divorce from his wife, so rumours of a relationship between them could spoil the divorce proceedings."

When contacted, Riva says, "I am not going out with Ken. We are just good friends. I had been linked to Sumeet Sachdev too when I was spotted with him, but we weren't dating. Ken and I go back a long way. We've known each other since I started out as a model."

Ghosh too mouths the clichd "good friends" line about Riva. "I have lots of friends and Riva is just one of them. We've known each other for many years."

As for his divorce, Ken says, "My wife and I are separated but not divorced yet. It's too complicated and painful to talk about. Our children are involved and I am not comfortable talking about this."

Script doctor

Ken would rather talks about his next project, which he's co-producing with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Says Ghosh, "It's a children's film called Chain Kuli Ki Main Kuli. It's stars Rahul Bose and a 13-year old child artiste called Zain Khan.

Zain has modelled for ads like Boost with Sachin Tendulkar and is an Asian Motor Cross Champion, but the odd thing is that we don't have any bikes in the film. Chain Kuli Ki Main Kuli is a warm, fun, emotional film and is about believing in yourself to succeed."

Surprisingly, it doesn't star his favourite actor, Shahid Kapoor. Says Ken, "I write two scripts a year and one of them is always written with Shahid in mind. I took time off after Fida as I take a long time to write my scripts.

Ishq Vishk took more than a year to write. Last year, I wrote two scripts in nine months but I had to scrap both as they didn't work out eventually. Now, I'm working on two new scripts."
