Akashh Deep Saigal may grow his hair and go back to playing a negative character in Kyunki...

Akashh Deep Saigal is likely to turn negative in Star Plus' Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in a couple of months. Reason? Viewers are still hooked on to the character Ansh that he played earlier in the serial and would like to see him in that get-up, long hair, beard et al.

The character Ansh was killed by his mother Tulsi (Smriti Iraani) in the show. However, a few months ago Akashh Deep returned to the serial as Ansh's son Eklavya, a positive character—cleanshaven, short hair a more sober look.

But apparently producer Ekta Kapoor feels he should go back to the previous image based on the viewer feedback her team has been receiving. And, sources say, the makeover is likely to happen soon.

When BT asked Akashh about it, he said, "I'm happy playing Eklavya. I'm not aware of any such move. But if it be the case then I'm fine with that. I'm always willing to do what my producers and the audiences want me to do. If they prefer me playing a baddie, then why not? But as of now I don't know if I'm turning negative."

But, if he does have to go back to the Ansh get-up, would he grow his hair and return to his original appearance or rather stick to a wig? "I'd love to grow my hair. It'll take a while, but I can do it."
