Who is Akashdeep’s ‘Dilruba’?

Apart from playing Eklavya in the new generation 'Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', actor Akashdeep Saigal has much to look forward to. Very soon he will be seen in a music video with pop singer Sharon Prabhakar produced and directed by Shenazz Nadirshah (also creative head of Balaji films). The video is titled 'Dilruba'.

Shenazz says, "When I saw Akash looking suave sans his ponytail (which he sported as Ansh in 'Kyunkii'), I decided instantly that he would be the right choice for the video. Sharon is sporting a glam look too."

She elaborates on the video, "The music is racy by Tauseef Akhtar with lyrics by Sameer. It features Akash in a dream sequence trying to reach out to Sharon. Though we have used special effects, Sharon has been elevated in mid-air at 21 feet for a scene. She was jittery about heights. But she kept her cool and gave the right expressions."

Meanwhile, Sharon is exhilarated about her femme fatale look. "I was pleasantly shocked with my reinvented looks. I was literally flying into space as part of the shoot," laughs Sharon.

Akashdeep recounts the sequence, "As I am driving, I start playing a CD and a dream girl comes alive in my imagination. I go into a romantic trance. The song 'Dilruba' goes, 'Jiskay andaaz pe saari duniya fidaa'. And I am no exception," he chuckles
