i find it surprising that only one person so far in this post has mentioned that haldi (aka turmeric) is a staple in every indian kitchen. so where kt got haldi from is a no brainer, because it's not really that obscure. secondly, i think teh fact that kt used haldi at least emphasizes the fact that she's from a traditional background. in this respect, i totally appreciate the producer/director's attempt at being realistic.

yeah and remember Tulsi always tells her to drink Haldi wala milk, which is supposed to be good for or sumthing so she probably learned this from Tulsi...and she probably got it from kitchen..and plus maybe she asked Ba it was... 😊 but it was a very cute scene
