Clueless on the sets-Mouni[KT of KSBKBT]

Moni Roy, the girl playing Krishna Tulsi had always wanted to be an actress but she didn't think she would land up playing the new protagonist of the popular soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. "I had given a look test for a new serial produced by Balaji but within two days I was called and told that I would be playing Krishna Tusli." When we called she was waiting on the sets without a "clue about what scene she would be shooting." "It doesn't happen everyday but sometimes you are not aware whether you will be shooting the continuity scene or something else," she defends. So far, Moni has shot most of the scenes with other newcomers only. Not much has been filmed with Smriti Irani yet, "cause she's not in good health. But whatever little I have shot with her she's been very nice," informs Moni. A theatre artiste and a danssuese, Moni's trained in Kathak, Jazz and Salsa. Her role as the simple, homeloving Krishna Tulsi is something with which she identifies completly. "I think every girl can identify with her," she avers. Her take on Kyunki...: "I love its stability and ability to emotionally convince audience for so long and continue to do so," says the newcomer who claims she had not watched a single episode of the soap before she started acting in it and now she doesn't have the time !
