Hail Virani Parivar!!!!

Virani parivar from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi continues to rule the roost, as evident from the results of a popularity survey. Recently, Star Utsav had conducted Yeh Hai Mera Khandaan Contest, which got an overwhelming response of over 6 lakh entries.

The lucky khandaan who got the chance to meet the Viranis on the sets were the Patels from Surat. Accompanied by her mother and sister, Deepti Patel (the winner) was seen chatting up with the cast over hot cups of cutting chai.

Says Deepti, "We never thought that we would meet the Viranis in person. We follow Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi very closely; weekdays are booked for the Virani Khandaan, regardless of what we are doing."

What struck us was the fact that Smriti Irani was actually giving the overwhelmed Patel family household lessons outside her vanity van. We guess they were only short of saying, "Tulsi maiya ki jai."
