Baa & Thulsi talk about Harsh. Thulsi says that if Harsh is happy with Mohini, so is she. Baa says it's a kind of adjustment. Karan is waiting desperately for the photographs.
On one side the function is shown and on the other side it's the hospital scene. Tanya again asks Nandini to inform Karan. Nandini not only refuses but also makes Tanya give her a promise that she wouldn't inform Karan.
Tanya thinks its better to cheat Nandini and save her life rather than be truthful. She time and again calls karan. But his mobile phone is on a nearby table and he is desperately waiting for the photographer to arrive. Savitha is also waiting for Nandini. She thinks it would be nice to welcome Mohini as a bride and Nandini as a mother into the household.
As Karan refuses to pick up the phone, Tanya calls on the landline and informs Karan about nandini's plans of abortion and the dangers she faces. Savitha overhears on an extension. Karan informs Thulsi and tries to call Nandini. But she curtly refuses to call off the operation. Thulsi and Karan rush out to the hospital.
Nandini accuses Tanya of betraying her. Tanya tells her that the value of a friend out weighed the values of a promise. May be Nandini would never speak to her, but she could not let Nandini play with her life.
A photographer arrives at Shanthinikethan. Mohini notices him first and ask him to deliver the photos to her. She in turn would hand them over to Karan. The photographer recognises Mohini from the photographs he had developed and insists on meeting karan.
Savitha arrives at the hospital and tries to stop Nandini. But finally Nandini speaks up and says that Savitha does not have any rights on the child. As she herself had put it at the time of Ansh's funeral, Nandini is neither the bahu of the house nor Ansh's widow. A nurse asks Savitha not to tense the patient and she goes out.
Mohini gather a lakh of rupees and brings them to the photographer. She says it will be far more than the money that Karan would give him for the prints and negatives. The photographer that its quite true, but he would not want to loose the trust of Rohan Mittal.
A worried Mohini continues to stand here. Gayathri is about to speak to the photographer, but Mohini claims that he is an old acquaintance and is waiting for his gifts to arrive. Gayathri does not understand the sudden disappearance of Savitha, Thulsi and Karan.
Savitha comes face to face with Thulsi and Karan at the hospital. She accesses Nandini of imitating Thulsi. She does not respect the elders and does wrong things. Nandini supported Thulsi in killing her son and now its Thulsi's turn. Thulsi tries to offer an explanation, but Savitha does not bother to listen. Karan leaves them to continue and rushes to meet nandini J
Nandini has already been wheeled into the operation theatre and the doors are closed. Karan bangs on the door. Another nurse informs that the operation has already started. Karan sits down and has a tearful flashback of his good times with nandini. It was a lovely song in the background. Thulsi walks in to see karan in tears and the red light glowing. She tells Karan that true love cannot be stopped by a mere wall. Infact the lovers would themselves become the wall for bad elements and destroy other obstructions that come there way. Karan looks at the closed doors
