Ekta-I cant end Kyunki...

Justifying the content of her hit serials, television producer Ekta Kapoor said that people love to watch both tragedy and comedy and hence both aspects formed part of her serials.

Kapoor, the creative head of Balaji Telefilms, also said that wrapping up her hit serials Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki would be tough because of the kind of popularity they enjoyed.

"Looking at the kind of applause, the two serials are getting even after being on air for five years, it would be difficult for me to wrap up these shows", said Kapoor, who was here to promote her new film Koi Aap Sa.

Observing that cinegoers' response to Koi Aap Se had been average at first, Kapoor said that the film was targeted at the youth and collections were now picking up.

Questioned as to whether she preferred television production to movies, the 'Queen of Indian TV' said the small screen was an indispensable part of her life and that she would never stop producing serials.

Kapoor, however, added that she would also produce films for her company.

"Presently, I am working on four films and five or six serials," she said.
