Update for Oct 12 2005

Bhoomi wakes up Nandini and Karan. They kiss and wish her Happy Birthday. Nandini wished her first and says it's because she is her daughter. Bhoomi says that Tanya Mummy wished her first and hence she is her daughter. Karan asks her where she wants to go and what she wants to do. She says she does not want to go anywhere, but wants to have a party at home. Nandini asks him if it is right to have a party because of the circumstances. Karan says Gujral was not a blood relative so it's perfectly fine.

At the party, Mayank and Nakul wish her. Bhoomi is wearing a lovely white frock. Sanwari and Banwari ask karan and Nandini to dance a bit. They dance to the tunes of

Seene mein dil, dil mein dhadkahn…. Bhoomi cuts the cake and everybody is singing "Happy Birthday …When Mansingh enters Shanthiniketan and joins in. All heads turns towards him. He also wishes Bhoomi. He wants to what is being celebrated – the death of Gujral or his will. He says this time he has come in with proof to arrest Gujral's murderer.

Gautam asks who is it? Mansingh says there is no hurry and asks them to enjoy the party. Mansingh walks around a bit and asks Bhoomi if she has fed cake to her papa and she says "sabse pehle". Mansingh tells Bhoomi that her papa is the first name in his list of suspects. What a coincidence. Everybody is shocked. Thulsi says that the inspector is mistaken. He explains that usually people think of killing for three reasons – property, wife, Money. Karan had multiple reasons – gets property, gets to keep bhoomi, safeguards nandini.

Nandini says he is lying and tears up the warrant. Nandini seems courageous and asks Karan to be optimistic. Thulsi intervenes and says that Karan can't even think of killing somebody and mansingh says "So you suggested, he do it?" Mihir tries to silence Mansingh. But he says he will get extra force and arrest all of them if they try to interfere. Karan says since he has not committed any mistake there is no need to fear. He asks Mansingh not to make a scene and decides to accompany him. Bhoomi rushes forward and asks him if he will go away even on her birthday. He consoles the kid saying that he is a very urgent work and he would be back soon. He asks Bhoomi to take care of others till then. As he walks away, Thulsi, Nandini, Bhoomi and the rest accompany him to the gate.

Mohini goes to Savitha and asks her why she is so sad. Before Savitha answers, Mohini says that she was aware that Karan is the killer, after all there was so much at stake – property….Savitha asks her to shut up and says that Karan cant do such a thing. Gayathri joins them and reminds Savitha that certain things are based on genes too and Mandira is his mother. Savitha reminds them that Mihir is karan's father. Mohini and Sejal enjoy the fight between Savitha and Gayathri.

As Mohini comes out of Savitha's room, she asks Sejal to give her the bracelet as she has lost the bet. Sejal asks her to wait and says that Karan is only arrested. Now there would be hearing, judgement and so on. Mohini accuses Sejal of being unfair and says if gautam was arrested would she have waited? Damini and Nandini over hear this conversation. Damini says that instead of trying to help, they are amusing themselves by betting? Gayathri asks them to treat Sejal with respect as she is older. Nandini says that they need to behave like that too and walks away in anger. Sejal is hurt and Mohini asks her to keep the bracelet ready.

Nandini calls up Tanya and says that Karan has been arrested. Nandini says that the inspector seems cruel and can do anything to finish the case. Tanya emphasises that karan can't harm anybody. Nandini thanks Tanya for her support and they decide to help one another.

Tomorrow: Tanya goes to prison to meet Karan and he says he is innocent. Tanya says he does not have to say it. She is aware that he is innocent, not because she is in love with him. Her love is not blind. She is aware of the habits and capabilities of Karan too.

family. Inspector is trying to find a needle in the haye.
Bhoomi's acting is wonderful. she is good actress

I agree with kbakshi. Knowing Karan, he may be in with the inspector to get the right one. I still don't think it is Gautam either, although he has more motives (poorana badla, in addition to current stuff)
