I know one thing for sure Shahi is more subtle than Ekta. His new antagonist against Onupamaaaaaaaa is a female politician who is shown as an MLA. She starts off as a friend but the promos make it evident where this woman’s character is heading towards.
Now, you cannot show a woman like Onupamaaa directly going at loggerheads against a cabinet minister or even a former cabinet minister from the Central Government, that would be too much for even the women who watch the show as even they would think its overreaching. But lower that position to an MLA, relevant only within a specific geographical region of the country and not even the whole city necessarily… and you can show a legit tension between them.
