What is going on with Amrit?

I recently started watching last few minutes of the episodes because it comes before Ishq par zor nahin. Found it interesting so watched a couple of episodes from the beginning.

I don't mind Amrit-Veer because I started the show too late ... but can't understand Amrit at all. They are not married then why all this drama about being a responsible bahu. She talks about the vaada and Veer talks about the deal. is there an end date to the contract?

Living with a guy back in 40-50's - who came up with this idea?? or has Amrit decided that she is going to join Vashma's trade once this is done?

Please either get Amrit out of this fake marriage or get them married for real... little time and cultural sensibility would make the show much nicer

Amrit is destroyed by the writers to include Veer in the story who otherwise was not required at all. That Vaada was never given and there is no deal also. Veer forced her to marry him, she refused and stated she was waiting for her fiance but suddenly they started showing she gave some promise which they never aired actually. As they want to continue with this triangle nonsense Amrit will continue to do these absurd things

And one more thing Veer is toxic, cheap and disgusting. His actions and dialogues are outright disgusting 🤢. He is forcing himself on Amrit and makers are romanticizing that 🤢

Even in a real marriage I doubt any girl will like the the kind of cheap PDA which Veer is shown doing and this is a fake marriage.

The makers have totally lost it.

The whole 'Vada' thing does not make any sense as Amrit can easily tell the truth to Veer and if he creates trouble she can inform his parents. Also, one cannot imagine a relation like Amrit-Veer in 1951.

However, the actors playing Veer and Amrit have good chemistry, hence don't mind them as a couple. But I hope the makers put an end to the pretend marriage by getting Veer and Amrit married or just let Amrit unite with Randhir and continue the story.

Vashma is a famous dancer... even if Amrit wish to, she can't join Vashma because what Vashma does that's a matter of art and personal skill... That's not Amrit's cup of tea. 🤪

Most male leads of top ITV shows are quite toxic.

But this show had the creepiest scene EVER -

I don't know a guy in 2021 who will invite a stranger in his bedroom while his wife is dressing and then dress her in front of him...here Veer did that.

What, I thought the vaada portion was shown as she is stuck on that. And it was not aired! 😲🤣 Ab to poora hi duboo diyo bhai Amrit ko - itni MAHAMOORKH ladki nahin dekhi humne.🤪

The thing I absolutely detest and it is part of literally all TV shows is - in name of showing the lead characters "very sanskari", particularly the "female lead" - they make her suffer things which she can easily avoid by standing up for the REAL RIGHT THINGS and voicing her opinion when needed. Our Amrit used to be this kind of "female lead" who was butchered post partition to become the average TV-TRP female lead - who portrays herself to be righteous and sansakri and still does all non-sanskari and illegal stuff like "living in with a man you are not marrried to"

random stupid illogical non-sense reasoning, bole to FOOLS se bhi MAHA FOOL logic. Amrit ke dad accha hua marr gaye during partition nahin to Amrit ka ye roop dekh ke he would have died. That man was anything but coward and would never submit to threats! So WAS she, ....... WAS ....... not any more.
