He was protective/possessive/jealous everything today 🤪 😆 I think more than others he is concerned about family just like Amrit is... 🤔 Yeah you are right he does think alot just like Amrit. But Vashma is Vashma

At the core, Uday has taken responsibility for Brij ever since he was little, which is why he matured faster and became so serious. He knows what will be acceptable or not in his household, so he keeps his real self and love locked away. He was civil with Radha too coz he is a nice person no matter what. Amrit and Vashma remind him that he is still young and his passion for hockey gives him life. Vashma will have to shake him up and remind him that he is allowed to love her, that is not something you plan 🥲

Uday has always been taught to stay within his limits, hence he likes enforcing it on himself and his love too. With Vashma, being jealous of the coach sir came in naturally and even when he did not mean to, he ended up with his chiding, reconfirming his love for her in front of both the girls, of which his sister is oblivious to the truth and Vashma blushed 💕

Yes both amrit and uday are brought up with certain limits like they have to stay in limits.. that's why he was so jealous.. it can also happen that in future when both will realise the love for each other vashma may not hesitate but uday will hesitate as he would be fearful about the outcome when the families will know about it and with partition matter it will a difficult one..uday will be fearful for vashma as to what will happen to her..so intially he may even maintain distance from vashma but vashma knock some sense in him and randhir too will knock some sense and finally he will ack and accept his love for vashma

The case with Amrit is still slightly different coz both her parents do love her. Uday was dealing with a single parent - a father Brij, who is handicapped and cannot support him, seemingly hates him to the point of constantly cursing him, but he has to constantly support and love him nevertheless. It is stuck in his head that he HAS to adhere to norms and stay in his good books. Yes, that is what makes him internalize and avoid any feelings for Vashma, coz he knows there will be a conflict if he ever even is found in the same room as her alone. Vashma will indeed be the braveheart in this jodi, because she will give him the strength to finally be his own person.

Even though she aptly described Brij, Vashma also called Uday her lakht-e-jigar when in disguise with the coach ❤️
