People who are watching the show for the first time must be in a doubt, as how can a rape victim be married off to her own rapist? The very simple answer to this question is that this is a show which deals with the reality of the society that the victim has to face aftermath the incident. This show deals with the wrath a victim faces from the society, in reality. It is definitely a fiction, but a fiction which speaks of the truth. In most of the cases, a victim is married off to her own rapist, just to press down the matter. A whole new story is cooked up, when asked of the victim. And in most of the cases which are based like this, A victim never gets a chance to speak up against the injustice she has suffered. She is shackled, with chains of the society. She is blind-folded and thrown into a dark room from where she can see no one, or nothing. This is the mere truth that is shown in the story, and not an injustice done by the show towards the victims, but an injustice done by the society towards such victims.

Well written. Adding to this, in context of the series, both Abeer and Amla were brainwashed and emotionally manipulated primarily by Viren, Mando and by Nelu (the lady cop) who very aggressively fed Amla the words she then spoke. Marrying off a rape victim with the rapist is not unheard of. It happens in reality. It's horrible and despicable but true. I feel they did a good job in the show on showing this arc. How slowly and cleverly Viren and Mando manipulated Abeer and Amla.

Isn't it an injustice towards the victim to show her falling in love with her own rapist? Okay, I won't say that Abeer isn't her rapist and he will suffer for the crime he did. But, wouldn't it be an injustice towards the victim itself to not being able to live a normal life, like she used to? What if she wants to love again, and I think, that's a great step towards life. Maybe that person was able to understand her like no one could? And is justice the only thing that is needed? I think, No! What is justice without a freedom towards life? I don't think it can serve any benefit, if the victim still has to suffer the same wrath from the society, and keep hiding the rest of her life like she's the one who committed the crime? I don't think, that's a great thing which should be supported. Justice is the most important thing, but freedom to life is the most important part of it, without which justice is nothing. Can't they just live a normal life? Why a rape victim is always tagged as a name to justice? and why not life? Why can't we say that, "Yes,she won! she succeeded in loving and living her life again! A great step!" and why only "Yes! she succeeded in getting her justice by punishing the rapists! A great step!". I think, justice involves both the things. Why only a punishment to the criminals? Would it end there?

So this question is a little tricky. The victim falling in love with the perpetrator is a big no-no for me. In AmBeer's case I can get behind them solely coz we as an audience know that Abeer didn't commit the crime. If Abeer was replaced with say Evaan or Suveer or Viraj, I could never get behind that story. Rape is so much more than just sexual violence. It's an attack not only the body but the soul.
I am all for Amla finding love. She deserves a happy life where she can learn to live and love again. That would be the greatest success BUT not with the perpetrator. This person while committing a horrific crime took away her free will, her agency, her voice. I can't even begin to imagine what the girl must go through. So I really can't get behind the victim-perpetrator story even if the exploiter is repenting. In the context of the show, I'll root for AmBeer but not if he was guilty.

Now I'll talk something about the character of Abeer. Abeer is a person, who chose to not run away from the only a mere suspicion that he had committed a crime. He was not sure if he had committed the crime, still he did not run away, and chose to support Amala instead of his friends. He called it "QUITS" with his friends and chose to support Amala. Who does that? Who accepts his crimes? Who supports the person whom he wanted to harm? Isn't it strange that, he chose not to run away, when he had the chance to have easily had done that? I don't think that's a big thing he could've done. He could've have blackmailed his own friends to doom them, and escaped from the situation easily.

Agreed again. Moreover Abeer wanted to go to the cops and surrender (when the guys tell Viren about the crime). Abeer would have done the right thing but he was in a disturbed state of mind, he was in shock when Viren and others manipulated him. Despite of not knowing that he is innocent, he is repenting. He hates himself, curses himself. That scene where Amla and Mannu are playing in the pond and Amla starts to cover up when she spots Abeer. Abeer was devastated at the fact that Amla considered him an animal. He is disgusted at himself. It was clear that Abeer would have gone to the police if Viren and co had not gotten to him first.

I want to say that it is not a fiction, which speaks of an imaginary story, but a fiction, which speaks of the reality.

Very true!
This series is not only showing what AmBeer is going through but also the struggles and reactions of the supporting characters be it Pallavi or Viraj's mom or Dev, are so nicely done. People are not black and white. There are so many layers to one person. And this show is doing an amazing job in depicting that.

Thank you for expressing your views, and again thank you for telling me about my mistake! I guess I framed a wrong question. But my intention behind the question was not wrong, as I was not talking about a girl falling for her rapist in reality, but talking of a girl falling in love with a guy who wasn't a rapist, but tagged as a rapist by many people. I never had any bad intentions behind writing this:)

P.S. I changed the question now, and I think, now, it makes sense too! :)

I think they didn't show Fatmagul becoming pregnant in the show. Did they show any such track like Fatmagul and others having doubt about pregnancy?

Yes. There was a scene, when Mukaddes/Mando taunts on Amala asking if she is pregnant as she was a bit ill, but then she was made to shut up by an amazing reply from Meryem/Karuna there.😆 And that was it about that scene there. Here, I am yet to understand what actually do they want to show!😆😆
