These are the reasons that I have found for why Rahul and Naina will not be separated, divorced.
1. Aamir is Rahul and Sanjeeda is Naina.
2. Naina's mehndi didn't get ruined, Kakun's did.
3. Daijaan told Naina that the dark color of mehndi means that her husband will love her a lot.
4. Naina was shown completing every rasm since the wedding.
- she stepped in the red liquid thing (when Kakun entered the house as Aman's wife, it was her blood)
- she played the ringgame with Rahul
- she was carried up to her room by Rahul
5. Naina and Rahul bonded further in their bedroom, giving their relationship a fair chance.
6. Naina isn't a negative character, therefore divorce would be out of place.
7. Kakun has been raped, it can symbolize a ripped thread, no turning back, etc.
8. Aamir is leaving the show, 95 percent chance, and RaKun separating on friendly terms would mean no unsolved, unanswered questions post 20 years as to where Rahul is.
All in all, I can't seem to see why K-creators would go through with Rahul-Naina's wedding this close to a leap, if they didn't intend to keep them together. Personally I hope and pray that they give Rahul and Kakun and their relationship a fair, a just closure. Be fair to what they had, what they were for each other. Please, guys, that's the least you can do.

I totally agree with you Elysia, but I very much doubt that it's going to happen.
Everything you mentioned is correct and by assumption there is no happy ending for RaKun, but the most telling part, the scene that told us all that RaKun are finished was the cabin scene.
Everyone use your own feelings to this is the scene:
Rahul has just found out the woman he loves is about to kill herself. He's not bothered about why or anything else but just that she can't for she is, according to him, the love of his life.
He's looking for her like a mad man- he's not thinking about his new wife, in fact he hasn't bothered to call her and tell her whats happened, and yes he does have a mobile phone on him! He hasn't even called Aman his brother the HUSBAND of the woman he loves to co-ordinate a search.
HE finds her, not her husband but the guy who loves her.
All this suggest someone totally in love not someone doing his duty or feeling guilty towards her for his part in ruining her life!
She jumps but he saves her, they're in a cabin, alone it dark there is a storm the perfect setting for the truth to come out. Rahul starts of and for once he takes the lead, is actually a man and insists that Kakun tell him the truth - again everyhting indicating that he loves Kakun not as a sister in-law but as a lover.
So were building up to this moment the setting is perfect for there love to come together- Kakun breaks, forced by Rahul, by his love, by her love for him to tell him the truth. Rahul is shocked, disbelief, in pain that everything he saw as real was in fact false and his love, his Kakun had to live with all it and without his support made worse by the fact he tried time and again to get Kakun and Aman together.
So you can fell all this right? So your waiting, waiting for the climax, for Rahul to take hold of Kakun in his arms and hold her tight. To comfort her, to express his love, his sorrow, his pain by sharing hers through a physical moment-right?
And waht do we get? Kakun broken and Rahul petting her on the head like a loyal dog!
Yup thats what we get! This love story that has captured us and enthralled for a year, that we've put with so much rubbish just to get to this point, the declaration of their love for each other, to each other......
And it ends on like this!
Forget it Guys there will be no happy ending for RaKun don't even bother to get your hopes up. It'll end with Kakun pregnant and unable to be with Rahul and her telling Rahul to move on in his life with Naina - the usual Kakun scarificing and Rahul selfish. THE END!

Once again, well said, and I totally agree.
Now, I am gonna go and weep. Oh wait. Been there. Done that. Now, I'm gonna move on, too.

i hope this doesnt happen as then it will be quite similar ( well i mean with the rebith thing) to kajjal that used to air on sony tv, they never met and they were re-born with different characters.....awful concept! as it never remains the same!....the original concept of KDMH can never ever be replaced.
