Picture this:

Rahul, Kakun and Sid are standing in a hobby-room, talking and relaxing. Then suddenly Sid suggests that they play pool, taking turns, starting with Rahul and Kakun.

Rahul: Par, Kakun has never played pool.

Kakun: Tell me the rules. I can do it.

But to make it more fun and daring, they'll bet. Rahul explains the rules and stance (and gets a chance to stand close to Kakun) and then they talk about the bet.

Rahul: If I win, then you will marry me this week.

Kakun: And if I win- (Rahul snorts out a laugh, and Kakun ignores him) -then you will go to Kolkatta and ask Dadu for permission to marry me first.

Rahul swallows. Dead silence.

Sid: Eh Rahul, darr gaya kya?

Rahul: No. It's a bet. I'll even put money on it. (He lays the money down on the pool's side)

Sid: Then let the game begin.

Rahul (quite self-assured, 'cause of course she's not going to win): Ab jab tum beginner ho, then you can shoot twice, Kakun.

Kakun (sarcastically): That's very generous of you.

Rahul: You should go for the yellow striped-

Kakun: Rahul, please. Do you mind?

Kakun aims, shoots, the ball go in. Sid whistles impressed. Rahul is shocked, but keeps his cool.

Rahul: Beginner's luck. No big deal. Prepare to marry me non-parental-advisory, Kakun.

Kakun aims, shoots, the ball go in again. Sid chuckles, while Kakun collects her money.

Sid: Prepare to get physically knocked out by an old man, Rahul. And Kakun, tum kya college mein pool-hustling karti thi?
