Chapter 11:
The concert ended splendidly n the girls who were being interviewed after it praised Dhruv to the hilt for his attitude, hospitality n the guy he was.
They said they enjoyed their stay in India n would be back soon to perform again n asked Dhruv he be ready to welcome them again to which he was most delighted.
The channels interviewing the girls also asked Dhruv n chandni as to how it felt to have accomplished such a huge platform in their first ever venture themselves.
Dhruv replied modestly: this is all team work n I must thank all those people who have slogged all day n night to make this show such a huge success from miss chandni here (pointing towards her, surprising her) to my entire staff n to the wishes of my friends n the blessings of my parents n my family & of course god.
Chandni hadn't thought Dhruv would praise her to say the least she was quite surprised by his true n modest reply, she felt he would hog all the limelight himself n take the credit too. For the first time she seemed to have respected n appreciate him truly.
When she was asked the same question she just replied all I got to say is the same as my colleague Mr. Dhruv here n will just add 1person from my side to the list, Rishabh sir who gave me this opportunity n believed in my talent n trusted me giving me such a huge responsibility, thanks sir I couldn't I been here without you today.
Rishabh just smiled at that and lovingly patted her hand along with Smriti he too congratulated his son n chandni n was overwhelmed by the occasion.
It looks like Dhruv was impressed with her reply for he too had not thought that she would on camera agree with him & smiled.
Later 'The After Party' of the concert began.
Dhruv took his friends to meet up with the girls personally n asked for pictures n autographs to which they humbly obliged.
His friends too wanted the same so he introduced everyone to them.
Addressing the girls he said: I would like to introduce my best friends to you all please. This is rohit, his fiance preeti n tarun.
When he said that for the first time after hearing that chandni was a bit shocked, she realized that the girl she thought Dhruv is dating is actually the fiance of 1 of his best friends' n also is a best friend of his for the same reason.
For some strange reason she felt good n smiled also she was quite surprised that she never figured it out.
Something about the fact made her feel good n also disturbed her as she couldn't quite get it as to why is she feeling so good about Dhruv being single.
