He confirmed that actually the makers script demand for him to leave was at the same time as him getting many offers and wanting to leave himself. If it is true that he is in fact taking up a new daily soap on another channel then that confirms he will not be back as karan in KDB and that manit is going to be the new male lead opposite preeta from now on.
So the decision of him leaving was mutually decided by him and production house.

Not the first time he has done this. When sasural simar was still a top show, he decided to quit as he had been on the show for a long time and the show was long-running, and soon after quitting he joined kundali bhagya. And same thing is happening again. Seems he got bored himself and was preferring all the new opportunities coming his way.
