I think since the show has been stuck for a long time they completely decided to reset the show.
Therefore new negotiation with the actors and they went back with the original storyline of Rishta. KDB reached top 5 right? They will focus on improving it now with IPL over.
Prithlyn can always be brought back as open rivals of Luthras. Maybe Arjun is in a business partnership with them. Prithlyn can enter together anytime.
