Yes, yes there is actually, it was a very odd episode, Prithvi primarily keeps denying to himself that he infact likes Preeta let alone has any affection towards her, but then he basically starts fighting with Sherlyn for her. It was actually soon after Sherlyn's pregnancy in episode 270 (23rd July 2018)Prithvi essentially starts getting jealous regarding Preeta, and by episode 280 (6th August 2018) which was basically the continuation of the same day in the show, Prithvi for the first time feels uncomfortable with the idea of NOT being able to get married to Preeta.

Writer also did not intend to show maya evil. she was just a psychopath. i consider karan the same. they are not evil but not less than evil either. thats why i compared them.

On Preeta's wedding day when Rishabh came with the police to stop Preeta and Prithvi getting married and poured water on the holy fire, that was the only dialogue going through my mind...

'Aapne toh mujhe bachaliya Rishabh ji par mai aapko bacha nahi payi'.
