Sorry for no ShreZain scenes as their scenes did'nt fit this chapter.

Luthras reached Arora house.Anjali was with Krithika and Vivan at home.

Anshuman Pakhi and Shrishti came to welcome them.

Seeing them Karan was frozen.

Karan stared at Prem and Simar.

He whispered:Who is the girl whom you are asking me to marry Maa?

Simar:Guess you already understood who she is.

Karan was shocked.

Pakhi:Karan..we feel very happy to see you after a long time.It's our luck that you are going to marry our daughter.

Anshuman:No one can be better than you for Preeta.

Karan was silent.

Simar:Guess Karan is desperate to see Preeta.Let them talk.

Pakhi:Sure.Even Preeta is dying to see Karan.Come Karan...I will show you the room.

Ruchika:Go Karan bhai.Don't be shy.You go.

She pushed him a bit to lead him to Preeta's room.

Karan walked to Preeta's room slowly.He was nervous too.

Suddenly Karan remembered a slap on his face.

Preeta:I wanted to meet you since years.But I did'nt have the courage to face you.I wanted to say sorry to you.I am sorry Karan.I behaved rudely to you.

Karan:What is the use of saying sorry after breaking my heart in every way Preeta?You broke my heart so much that they could never be joined together.

Preeta was hurt by his words.

Preeta:That means you won't forgive me?

Karan:I am not a saint to forgive you Preeta.

Preeta was shattered.

Karan:Did'nt you get married to Prithvi?Or did he leave you?

Preeta became upset.

Preeta:Yes.We got married.

Karan was stunned.

Karan said in a sarcastic tone:Great.Did he die?It will be better if he dies.

Preeta:Karan..why are you talking like this?How can you just talk about an alive person's death?

Karan:Oh,that means your Prithvi is alive.Where is he now?

Preeta:He is not my Prithvi now.He left me.

Karan:I am sure that he left you for Sherlyn.Right?

Preeta nodded painfully.

Karan:I am not surprised about it.I even expected it that time itself.

Preeta:Yes,you had told me.It's my foolishness that I did'nt believe you and married Prithvi.

Karan:It's not your foolishness that you did'nt believe me.Preeta.It's because you never valued our friendship.That's why.

Preeta's heart was pricked with guilt.

Sanjana came running towards Preeta:Mumma..

Preeta hugged her:Sanju...

Sanjana looked at Karan.

Sanjana:Who is this mumma?

Preeta:He is....

Pakhi came and grabbed Sanjana's hand:Come beta.Let them talk.Nani will tell you everything.

Preeta:It's Sanjana.My daughter.

Preeta:These things are not in our hands Karan.You also had a failed marriage.Right?Ruchika told me that.

Unknowingly Karan got emotional thinking of his married life.

Karan:I loved her blindly just like you were everything to me as a friend.But she betrayed me.I don't trust any woman now.

Preeta could'n bear it.She held his shoulder tightly and asked:What happened to you Karan?Why are you talking like this?

Karan:Take your hands off my shoulders Preeta.You have lost the right to touch me.

Preeta was embarrassed.She took her hands off his body painfully.

Preeta:All women are not same.You also have mother and sisters.They are so nice.

Karan:But Rishab and I are jinxed to get only wrong women in our life.I am sure that you will also do the same if you marry me.

Preeta:I am not such kind of a woman Karan.I was always loyal and I will be.If you hate me this much why did you come here?

Karan:I am here only for my mother.She wanted me to marry someone for my daughter Anjali.I am just obeying her.I am not interested in marriage.It's rubbish.

Preeta was again shattered.

Karan:If you want you can marry me.Or otherwise you reject me now itself.I don't care.

Preeta was stunned seeing his attitude.

Preeta:You were not like this before Karan.

Karan:People do change according to the situation Preeta.Just like you changed because of your mad love for Prithvi.

Preeta became upset.

Karan left the room.Simar came inside.

Simar:Preeta...

Preeta:Simar aunty!

She touched her feet.

Simar caressed her.

Simar:Did Karan say anything weird?

Preeta became dull.

Simar:Preeta beta...Karan had a bitter married life.It made him a beast.

Preeta:What happened in his married life?

Sameer:Can you please say where the washroom is?

Anshuman:Shrishti...show the washroom to Sameer.

Shrishti walked with Sameer to the washroom.Sameer washed his hands.

Sameer:I am fine.

Shrishti:How is Tanvi?

Sameer:She is fine.

Shrishti:Why did'nt she come here?

Before Sameer could say anything Pakhi called Shrishti:Shrishti...please soft drinks.

Shrishti:Yes Maa.

Shrishti looked at Sameer and then walked to the kitchen.

Sameer thought of his past moments with Shrishti.

His eyes became wet.He wiped his eyes.

Karan came to Preeta's house on Simar's insistence. I thought that Karan will start liking Preeta but sad that he put all women under the betrayal category. Sad that he told Sanjana a devil. Loved Simar telling Preeta that Karan became a beast. Sameer's eyes became wet thinking about Srishti. I guess there is something between them.

Dedicated to KulsumSultana who wants Vivaan-Krithika scenes.

This chapter may bore you as there is no PreeRan scene.But it was necessary to show Karan's past in this chapter.Plz try to understand.

Simar:Karan had arranged marriage with Indira.He was very happy with her.He loved her a lot.

Flash back...

Indira:Karan...you know that my biggest ambition is to be a model.But my conservative family did'nt allow it.

Karan:Yes,I know.

Indira:But you will fulfill my dream.Right?

Karan:Is there any doubt about that?I have fulfilled all your wishes.I will fulfil this wish too.

Indira held his chin cutely:That's so sweet of you Karan.I knew that you love me a lot and will never go against my dream.

Karan smiled:For me,your happiness is more important.

Indira:Can I go for audition?

Karan:Yes sure.

Indira:You are too good Karan.

Indira embraced him.

Indira gave audition and got selected.

Karan:I am very happy for you Indira.

Indira:But Karan...There is a problem.

Karan:What problem?

Indira:Marriage is an obstacle in the modelling career.So I have hidden from them that we are married.

Indira laughed.

Indira:How did you even think that i will obey you?No why should I obey you?You are not my mother in law anymore as I am ending my relationship with Karan.

Simar was shocked to see her attitude.

Simar:How can you say like that Indira?Relationships are formed by hearts.It can't be ended because of a piece of paper.My relationship with you can't be ended like that as I accepted you as my daughter.I have the right to correct you when you choose the wrong path.

Indira lost her control and pointed her finger towards her:Just stop it Simar Luthra.

Simar was shocked about the way Indira addressed her.

Indira:Don't give me lecture.I am not like your foolish children who keeps listening to your boring lecture.Don't teach me right and wrong.I know what is right for me.Understand?

Simar:Giving importance to career is really good.But a successful career should not blind you.

Indira:You are jealous of me as you could'nt be like me.

Simar was shocked:Why should I jealous?I will be very happy if you become a successful model.But for that leaving your husband and baby is cruelty.I can't support that.

Indira:I don't want your support Simar Luthra.Don't come near me.

Simar:Indira was not willing to listen to me.She went and asked Karan to sign divorce papers.Poor Karan.He was broken into pieces.

Indira:But I don't want perfect marriage.I want perfect career.They all came to know that I married and produced a baby.Still they are ok with giving me offers.But they have problem with my marital status.So I have to be single.I don't want to lose this opportunity just because of my marital status.So please don't make any fuss and give me divorce.

Karan was shattered.

Karan:But our Anjali will be alone.

Indira:Anjali won't be alone.She has all of you.

Karan:But she needs a mother.

Indira:Stop doing emotional blackmailing.I never wanted this child.I wanted to do abortion as my pregnancy was hindering my career.But because of some complications I could'nt do it.

Simar was worried as Indira spilled out the truth about trying to abort the baby to Karan.

Karan was shocked:You tried to abort our baby?

Simar tried to calm him down:Karan beta...you control your emotions.

Karan burst into tears.

Karan:Indira..I am willing to forget everything.Please don't leave.Anjali and I won't be able to live without you.

Indira:Karan..you only said that you love me a lot and will always fulfil my dream.If you really love me agree for mutual divorce.

Karan's heart was broken into pieces.

Karan signed the divorce papers while his hand was shivering.Indira smiled happily.

Indira:Thank you Karan.I will never forget this favour.

Present...

Preeta was very upset:This much happened with Karan.It's so sad.

Simar:But this incident has made him a rock.He has no feelings towards Anjali also.He ill treats her.

Preeta was shocked.

Simar:We are worried what will be Anjali's condition after we leave this world.We chose you for Karan as only you can forgive Karan and love Anjali.No other girl can tolerate Karan.

Preeta was touched by her words.

Simar:You take your own time and take a decision.

Preeta was silent.

Simar and Preeta came out of the room.

Prem:Did you speak to Preeta?

Simar:Yes.It was nice talking to Preeta.

Everyone smiled.

Anshuman:Shall we call a Pandit and fix the wedding date?

Simar:Let Preeta take a decision.

Pakhi:But She is already..

Simar:Pakhi..Preeta deserves more time to take a decision as marriage is a very crucial part of life.

Prem:I agree with Simar.It's their wedding.Marriage is not a joke.We should give them more time to take a decision.

All were silent.

They all bid good-bye and left.

Sanjana was with Anshuman and Pakhi.

Sanjana:Who was that handsome uncle with mumma?

Anshuman:Till recent times you said your Nanu is the most handsome person.Now you are calling that uncle handsome?

Sanjana:You both are handsome.

They giggled.

Pakhi:Sometimes that uncle will become your papa.

Sanjana was surprised:That is my papa?

Pakhi and Anshuman nodded cutely.

Sanjana was excited.

Sanjana:Then why did'nt he talk to me?

Pakhi:He will talk to you.He will play with you.But wait for some more days.Your papa will take you and mumma with him.There you will get a sister also.

Sanjana was surprised:I have a sister also?

Pakhi:Yes.Her name is Anjali.

Sanjana was very happy:I can't wait for papa to take us with him.

Preeta who over heard this became dull.She walked to her room.

Preeta thought:Karan can't even love his own daughter.Then how will he love Sanjana?If he behaves rudely with Sanju like he behaves with Anjali she will be broken.When the proposal came itself I had accepted Karan's daughter as mine.But I wish Karan accepts both Anjali and Sanjana as his daughters.Karan was so sweet before.If I had'nt broken my friendship with Karan, I would have been with him to give him strength in his toughest times when Indira left him.If so Karan would not have turned into a ruthless person.It's my fault.

Preeta shed tears.

Krithika washed her face and came out of the washroom.She wiped her face with the towel.Suddenly Vivaan embraced her from behind.

Krithika:Vivaan..

Vivaan:Come…there is a small surprise for you.

Krithika smiled.

He took her to the dining room.

He showed her the food which was served on the table.

Vivaan:For my sweet wife I cooked dinner..

Krithika was surprised and impressed by his sweet gesture.

Krithika:You made it specially for me?

Vivaan pulled her closer embracing her from the side.

Vivaan:If not for you,for whom can I cook?

She looked at him deeply.

Vivaan:Only you can tolerate my cooking.Right?

They both giggled.

Vivaan:Ok..now have food.

He took a spoon and started feeding her.

She smiled:It’s really delicious.You surprised me.What are the ingredients of thi yummy food?

These pictures were clicked 2 days back when they went to the cafeteria.

Shrishti:Rishab..this picture of you and Bela with Preeta di and Karan is so cute.

Shrishti:I think you started going on date with Bela.Not bad.

Rishab:Date?Shrishti...stop teasing.We go out sometimes when she needs any help.But it's not a date.

Karan and Mahir were walking on the corridor.Mahir was clicking someone's pictures.

Those were Bela's pictures who was standing on the other side.

Karan:You are so addicted to Bela that you are keeping on clicking her pictures.

Mahir:Love is addiction Karan.When you fall in love you will understand.

Karan:I am waiting to get addicted.

Mahir joined Bela.

Sameer,Shrishti,Karan,Preeta,Rishab went for a movie.

Preeta:Karan,let's grab popcorn first.

They both bought popcorn.They both were throwing popcorn at each other funnily.

The guy in the theatre:You made our floor dirty.Clean it.After that only go to watch movie.

Karan-Preeta were embarrassed.

They both were cleaning the floor.

Karan:We may be the first people to clean the theatre instead of watching the movie.

Preeta:As if we paid money to clean the theatre.

They both burst into laughter.After cleaning they went inside to watch the movie.

During the interval Rishab-Shrishti were chatting and laughing

which made Sameer jealous and aloof.

Preeta:What a sweet love story Karan!My man will be as loving as the hero of this movie.

Karan:My girl will be as loving as the heroine of this movie.

They both smiled.

Sameer was getting disturbed thinking of Rishab-Shrishti moments.

Tanvi came and sat near him:What happened Sammy?

Sameer:I feel really jealous when I see Rishab near Shrishti.

Tanvi:Chill yaar.They are best friends.But you are Shrishti's love.So cheer up.

Sameer smiled.

Tanvi patted his back:Good.

Sameer gave a chocolate box to Shrishti.

Shrishti:Wow Sammy...My favourite.I love chocolates.

Sameer smiled.

Shrishti:You are sweet like chocolate.You are my chocolate.

Sameer went closer to her:If I am your chocolate please eat me.I am always ready.

Shrishti pushed him blushing.

Shrishti shared the chocolate with Rishab.

Shrishti:It's given by Sameer.It's so tasty.

Rishab:Ya..it is.

Rishab saw chocolate cream on Shrishti's face.He wiped it.

Sameer who passed by saw it with anger.

Shrishti and Rishab saw Sameer.

Rishab:I am going.You both enjoy.

Rishab left.

Sameer:I gave the chocolate to you.Why did you share it with Rishab?

Sameer walked off angrily.

The college got championship in Youth Festival.

All of them started dancing with joy.

Vivaan-Krithika were lost in each other's eyes while dancing.

Suddenly Vivaan broke the eye lock.

Vivaan:This is not right Krithika.

Krithika:What is not right Vivaan?

Vivaan:Nothing.

Krithika:Don't you know about my feelings?

Vivaan:I am not a fool to be not aware of your feelings.But this is not right Krithika.
