The thing is everyone is hearing third person perspective on the situation. NO ONE other than 'the audience' was present when Karan ditched Preeta in the middle of the road in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere. Particularly the Luthra's have only primarily heard whatever they have heard from Sarla and then from the biases of Karan. No one other than the Arora's (and Sammy) was present when Karan proposed to Preeta in the wedding hall, and no one BUT Preeta faced the humiliation that Karan bestowed upon her. Although, I personally have no expectations from Rishabh myself, at the very least I am hoping for some sort of reaction from him. And I want to see his reaction.
I don't agree that they gave this unsuitable reaction because they weren't there and didn't see all the situation by their own eyes.
For Sarla it should be enough to see Preeta coming back home shocked and in tears. For Rakhi it should be enough to understand that her son married a girl deceitfully and ditched her in the middle of the road. Especially when her son confirmed all this by himself. If I would be Rakhi it would be enough for me to be angry as hell 😡🤬😠 😁
Coming to Rishabh. I remember when he was literally panicked seeing them as a dulha-dulhan during that Monisha's track. He didn't want even think of them as a pair. It was very well written and played. So I do want him react properly not only on the way HOW Karan married Preeta and what he did to her but also on the fact that the love of his life is his sister-in-law now. I mean it should be mix of different complicated emotions. But I have no hope for him too.
The writers failed the 'angrywala' script after this shaadi. Too flat and unconvincing. I expected it would be more interesting and intense.
