Neha gives a stern look at Manav 🤓and says. I shall lock the windows.
Sumit and Manav Smiles at eachother 😳and others couldn't understand and they looked confused at Neha.

Next day

Sumit calls up Kumkum.

Sumit ' Hi jaanu.
Kumkum ' Itni subha? Good morning.

Sumit ' Kya karoo. I cant meet you and you know I cant sleep without seeing your face atleast once a day. Can we have lunch together?🤔

Kumkum ' Sumit''' dadaji ne mana kiya heyna?😒

Sumit ' OK. Lets do one thing. You come with Pooja for lunch and have it in the next table. We will not disturb you, nor talk to you. We'll just see you.🤣 ( What an idea.... Stupid Sumit)

Kumkum ' Nahin Sumit. Aaj shopping keliye jana hai.🤔
Sumit - Acha. Kahan jarahi ho?

Sumit ' Kuch nahi. Waise hi 😆(and giggles).

Manav is having breakfast with other members when Sumit joins them happily humming a song.

Dadi ' Kya bath hai. Bahut kush nazar aarahi hai.

Sumit ' Haan Dadi. Myself and Manav are going shopping today😆.

Dadaji ' Ladies like shopping. Why are you so happy going for shopping? Waise bhi kya karidhna hai tuje?

Manav ' Muje nahi ana hai.😡 kisi shopping. Ek meeting bhi hai.

Sumit ' Manav, soch lo. Badh mein pachtaoge.😛 aur muje blame math karna ki mein tumhe invite nahin kiya.😆

Manav looks suspiciously at sumit and both giggle 🤪and say Chalo shopping karni hai.

Priya ' Kuch bath tho zaroo hai.

Sumit and Manav reaches the shopping complex at 9.00am and the store is not yet open .

Manav ' Are Sumit, What time are they coming?
Sumit ' patha nahi. Wo kumkum ne nahi bathaya. Aaj zaroo aayenge. Lets wait.

At around 4.00 pm Kumkum, Pooja with their moms' arrive at the shopping mall. Sumit is almost sleeping 😵after a long wait and Manav has lost all his patience.🥱 Entering the mall Kumkum see Sumit- Manav and slowly points them to Pooja who is also excited. Sumit is all up and excited.😆

Kumkum ' Mom, Aap or Zara mom go and watch the new movie which had been released. ' What happens in Vegas'. I heard it's a very comic movie. By then we will finish our shopping.👍🏼

Neha ' Nahi beta. Its fine we'll come with you.👎🏼

Pooja ' Are mom, you said you don't want to shop anything today. So why don't you have some fun. Otherwise you will start pushing us to finish soon and''.

Zara ' OK fine. Then we'll meet you at 8.00pm in the Chinese restaurant down stairs. OK.

KUM- Poo ' OK.👍🏼

Sumit and kumkum move towards the other side of the mall and asks pooja to meet her by 7.30 in the same place.

Sumit ' I missed you so much baby. Chalo bahar chalthe hain.

Kumkum ' I miss you too. But see the brighter side. We'll be together for life in less than 10 days. OK come with me. I need to shop somethings.

Sumit ' Come on kumkum. You can do your shopping tomorrow also. Today lets have some time together.

Kumkum ' Aur mom ko kya bathaungi jab wo pooche ki meri shopping kahan hai?
Sumit ' Hmm. OK what you want to buy?
Kumkum ' Well I need some sarees.
Sumit ' Saree aur tumhe?😆
Kumkum ' Well, Shadhi ke badh tho muje saree pehanna hoga.

Sumit ' OK come with me. I'll take you to the store where mom goes usually for her shopping. I'm sure you can pick up all you need there. Then lets go out and be ourself for sometime. (He quickly takes to the mall close by.)

Kumkum ' Are all the Sarees looks beautiful. I don't know which one to buy.

Sumit ' Uff. Why do you ladies take so much time to decide😡. OK let me select for you. ( He randomly picks up few sarees for Kumkum) OK ab chalo. If you don't like these sarees and if you want to buy then I shall take you shopping after we get married. Now for heaven sake Chalo.

Kumkum ' Kahan jana hai tumhe Sumit?
Sumit ' Chalo tho sahi. You can see yourself.
Kumkum ' But I should be back before 8.00 as mom will be waiting.

Sumit ' Don't worry. I'll drop you back. (They drive for few minutes and finally arrive at a restaurant. Sumit leads her to the lift and takes her to the 21^st floor.

It's a roof top restaurant which was beautifully decorated with White lilies and red roses. The place is empty and only a table with 2 chairs in the middle. Right from the lift to the table the path was showered with rose petals)❤️

Kumkum ' Yeh sab kys hai? I mean kab kiya?😲

Sumit ' Well, I didn't do it personally this time. But gave instructions over the phone when you were shopping. Hope you like it.⭐️

Sumit then takes Kumkum by her hand and leads her to the table. Her tender foot steped over the rose petals which made it look more elegant. Sumit pulls the chair for Kumkum and she graciously takes her seat with a broad smile.🤗

They tose a champaign and take themselves into a romantic conversation. After few minutes all they could see is each other in their eyes.❤️

The background song was also keeping the moments alive.

Sumit moves his hand from her waist and moves it a little lower and Kumkum's heart missed a best or two. Then he slowly kisses her cheek and feels her back with his finger tips. A chill runs on Kumkum's spin and she was now in no position to restrict his moves. Taking this as a opportunity he slowly kisses on her lips and for his surprise Kumkum kisses him back. yeh pal hame yad aayenge, woh kal yad aayengeyeh pal.........

Enjoying the moments of the lip lock he takes Kumkum on his arms and the kiss continued and as the song comes to an end they get back to their feet and Sumit slowly puts her back to the floor.

Kumkum ' Sumit, hame jana Hoga. They will be waiting for us.

Sumit understood why she meant those words. ' Sure. Chale?

The drive was silent though both recalled the moments they spent a while ago.

Finally reaching the mall kumkum placed a soft kiss on his cheek😊 and said Will talk to you later.

Sumit ' yap. Happy shopping.

As Kumkum puts her back and started to move Sumit calls her.

Sumit ' Kumkum, I had a great time.☺️

Kumkum ' Me too😳. Thanks for the wonderful evening.❤️

Sumit smiles😃 and drove home with a fixed smile.

How beautiful...................how romantic..................i can just imagine it...............amazing, fabulous, indblowing..................waiting 4 the wedding eagerly..........

PART 41

Days passes by. Sumit and Kumkum are on the phone most of the time and so are Pooja and Manav.

Harsh on the dinning table –Sumit - Manav, you both should take a break from work until the wedding. In case of any emergency we will ask you to handle. Shadhi hai tum dhono ka?😵

Manav – Dadhu, we don't have anything much to do at home. Can't meet or spend some time with our brides either.😔 So what's the point of taking a break from work? Atleast we are busy. We'll take a break after wedding. What say Sumit?

Sumit – You are right. Loooooong break after wedding. 😆Saying this they go to their respective office.

Now there are 3 days for the wedding when the ritual starts.

Sumit and Manav is all excited about the days function. The Wadhwa's are invited for the Gandagner / Kelvan and Tilak function at Kumkum's place.

The only thing in Sumit –Manav's mind at the moment is they can spend some time with their respective brides whom they were missing so much.👍🏼

Sumit – Are Jaldhi karna sab log. It's getting late for the ceremony.🤓

Priya– Are you really interested in the ceremony or you are in a rush to see Kumkum😈

Sumit – Mom, aap bhi na……. Atleast you can understand my situation mom. I've been missing her so much. Naa kane ki mann kartha hai naa rath ko sone detha hai……..☺️

Priya – Ok fine. We are just sorting out the things and we should be ready soon.

Here Kumkum is dressed with a beautiful green saree with gold work. She was decorated with emerald jewelry which made her look like a princess waiting for her prince charming.😊

Pooja was wearing a beautiful lite Orange saree and to add charm to her looks she was adored with Coral jewelry. The two girls really looked like the angels who were just droped from heaven and everybody needed to give them a second look.😃

Finally the Wadhwa's were ready and they arrived.

Neha and Zara take the Arathi of Sumit and Manav and they welcome the family into the house.

(In this function as you all know it's a lunch followed by exchange of gifts)

Sumit's eyes were scanning all the corners of the house as he was searching for Kumkum.

And to start with the function they bring both the girls to the ceremony place. Sumit and Manav were so shell shocked to see them so beautiful with saree and couldn't just take the eye off.

Sumit felt his mouth go dry as his eyes traced her full lips that threatened to snatch away his senses. She had felt him drown in her beauty and she could feel his eyes take in every detail from the dimple in her cheek to the curl that kissed her forehead. All this while her eyes remaining fixed on the ground or say looking at her feet but her cheeks changing shades from pink to crimson☺️.Her bangles tinkled as she adjusted her Tika and getting Sumit for his senses.😍

Here Manav couldn't take his eyes off Pooja. He thought was she real or was it all his dream. It had to be a dream no one could look so bewitching it was just not possible😉. Stepping forward he had held out his hand to her face as if tranced touching it gently and the warmth it radiated caused him to realize it was indeed a reality. He had stared at his hand and then at her in flustration.🤣 Pooja had smiled enjoying his confusion.

Priya – arrh arrh…. Can we start the function?😈

Manav was a little embarrassed😳 but Sumit as usual has got no effect on the comments😎 and he is still looking at Kumkum.

Sumit – Ya. You continue with your rasam. Dadi holds his ears and then he gets back to his sense.

Sumit – Ochh🤢. Kya hain dadi. Meri hone wale patni ko dekna bhi gunah hain kya?

Dadi – Is ladka kabhi nahi sudhrega…😈

Kumkum has just kept her gaze down but still she could feel the gaze of Sumit and is blushing☺️.

Kumkum and Pooja are brought to the ceremony place and are made to sit in a low chair

Priya and Veena meet Kumkum and gives her the wedding outfit with few jewelry. The same tradition was done with Pooja also.

This is followed by Tilak.
This is the traditional rasam where the bride's family gives a ceremonial recognition to the to- be son in law for the brides family.

Sumit and Manav takes the blessings of Neha and Zara followed by all the elders. As the tradition both Sumit and Manav are offered with the gift items which include wedding attire, (Sherwani) and other accessories, cosmetic items which chiefly includes his shaving kit, perfumes, a set of handkerchiefs etc and the wedding ring.( Which has to be given traditionally.)

There was so much of traditions and customs followed one after the other that Sumit couldn't make any excuse to be with Kumkum and now his frustration is clearly visible in his face.🤔

Priya – Are Sumit, this morning you were so excited with the ceremony but now you look different.😆

Everybody looks at his face and start giggling which annoyed him more.😃

Neha and Zara invites everybody for lunch.

Sumit – Muje bhook nahi hain. You guys carry on.

Zara – OK. I have arranged lunch for you 4 in the terrace. So you guys can have some privacy.

Sumit – Thanks Aunty. Your so sweeeeeet.🤪

Sumit and Manav disappear in no time for the terrace and Kumkum and Pooja follows them slowly.

2 tables were set separately with a good distance to give privacy for 2 couples. Food was placed on the table which had a white satin cover with red mats.

Still the privacy was not enough as they were meeting after a week. They quietly had their lunch and then retrieved to their respective rooms.

Sumit holds Kumkum from behind and places his chin on her shoulder and takes a deep breath.❤️ He doesn't speak anything.

Kumkum – Kya bath hai? Ithni chup kyun hoo?

Sumit – Shhhh…. Kuch math kaho Kumkum. Muje sirf tumhare sath hone ka mehsoos karne dho. I missed you so much.🤗

Kumkum turns and faces Sumit. Puts her hands on his neck-Ab Sirf dho din ki bath hai Sumit.

Sumit – hmm. Or us dhin keliye main salo se inthzaar kar rahi houn.

Sumit kisses on her her cheek and then on her lips.❤️

Downstairs – The Wadhwa's are begging to leave as things have to be set for the Haldi function the next day. Neha and Zara also agree as they have the Haldi followed by Sangeet and mehendi the next day.

As Sumit and Kumkum were enjoying themselves in eachothers arms they could hear the shout from downstairs.

Dadaji – Sumit …..Sumit….😆

Sumit – Hmm these people are really jealous about me. Always calls me when we are havening a nice time.😡

Kumkum giggles at his comment.

Dadaji – Sumit….. Jana hain.

Sumit – Abhi Ayi.

Sumit – Sirf ek aur dhin ki bath hain. Doli lekar aaungi or dulhan ko lekar jaoungi.❤️ Phir mein bhi dekhthi houn ki koun muje disturb kartha hai😈

Kumkum just blushes☺️. Sumit gives a sweet short peck on her cheek and runs downstairs.

What a long part & how beautifully described the whole function................enjoyed reading it so throughly............also can imagine kk in green saree & emerald set.................ab waiting 4 the wedding.................
