Some Guidelines for Members - Do Read!!

Dear Friends,

It has come to our notice that certain members of this section are not adhering to some basic rules here and breaking them time and again despite repeated requests. This post now is a reminder of those ground rules to all .Each and every member of this section has to follow them diligently .Please take note that after this anyone found breaking any of the following mentioned rules will have to face serious action .

So please take a minute and read carefully the following basic ground rules and follow them:

1.Check the stickied threads very carefully – At most of the times, the topics that are already present in the sticky threads are posted again by the members. Stop doing that. Check the sticky and the first few pages of the section to see if a similar thread exists or not. If it does, make your post there and DO NOT open another thread on the same topic. It will be trashed immediately .Avoid Redundancy.

2. Do not spam the update threads– Please DO NOT post comments like just "thanks" or "tfs" or "gr8" etc. It is considered as spamming. Please do not make the updates untidy with spamming. On the top left hand corner of the author's post there is a "" button. Use that button to convey your appreciation. Anyone found spamming in update threads or any other threads with such messages will face action from now on.

3. Use Helpdesk – In the section there is a HELPDESK thread. If you have a question, please post it in the Helpdesk thread. It will be answered. But DO NOT open new threads to get a point clarified or verified. Such threads will be trashed immediately.

4. Fan-fics : Please DO NOT spam fan fics with posts like "pls write the next part soon". It is great that you like their creation but such posts makes the thread look shabby. Remember that fanfics are the authors' creations and they know what and when to post next. There is no need for such reminders. Not only will such posts be trashed but they can end up getting you a warning as well. Please refrain.

5. No personal comments : When you make comments please remember not to get personal in your criticism. Do not write anything derogatory against your fellow members, celebrities or characters. Please don't write anything that you wouldn't want written against you or your favorite(s). Give respect and earn respect.

6. Siggy Size : Many of you have too large siggies or just too many of them. They become very distracting and posts often get lost or page alignments get distorted amidst such huge displays. From now onwards, remember that the individual siggy size SHOULD NOT exceed 550*350 pixels (WxH ) and one cannot carry more than 3-4 siggies.

These rules are made to help all members come to a member friendly section. Please help us make the section clean warm and welcoming by cooperating.
