Juhi Parmar aka KumKum is taking a break from the show that made her a household name after 6 years.
The actress wants to spend some special moments with her loved ones especially her parents. Her character will be on air till February end. After that for two months Kumkum will be away from the Wadwa family.
Confirms Juhi, "Yes, I'm taking a break from the show. I have communicated my decision to the producers. They have been very understanding. However, we are yet to figure out the last date of shoot and other details."
On her holiday plans, she says, "I'm planning to go to my home town Jaipur for a while but before that I will be going to Mysore where my parents are presently staying. I want to relax with them with no hectic shooting schedule in mind. I don't have any future assignments as I don't want to work for a while. I'm very glad that the production house didn't force me to continue."
Asked how she will leave the show temporarily, she says, "Frankly speaking the creative heads are working on it so I really can't comment. All I know is that the shooting will continue for at least another week."
Creative Head Rajesh Chadda adds, "I can't say how her track will come to a halt. But it will be related to Pulkit (Mukul Dev) and will be on air the first week of March. Additionally, we will also be focusing on new characters which we introduce every 3 months for freshness."
Earlier, the male lead of KumKum Hussein (Sumeet) too had taken a break for his wedding and honeymoon. Incidentally, telly's other leading ladies Roshni Chopra (Pia) and Prachi Desai (Bani) are also on a break.
