When Star officials decided to get Juhi Parmar as a Wild Card entry after the seventh round, the NB 3 participants would hear none of it

Star Plus' decision to introduce Juhi Parmar as a Wild Card entry on Nach Baliye 3's seventh episode (with a partner who will be selected through auditions) didn't go down well with the other contestants.

Distorting concept

In fact, they voiced their displeasure in a meeting with Anil Jha (Star One) and other officials from Star Plus before shooting for the first episode on Friday. The contestants categorically told Star Plus that if Juhi is introduced with a partner who is selected through auditions, they were not interested in continuing with the show.

In fact, actor Karan Grover suggested that Star Plus should then call the contest Dhond Baliye and not Nach Baliye! Their vociferous protests paid off in the end as the channel is reconsidering the decision.

Says an eyewitness, "Participants fear that this decision will hamper their chances in the competition. Their fear is justified. Juhi is very popular and will get votes even if she dances badly. Remember how far Gauri Pradhan and Hiten Tejwani went in Nach Baliye 2 on the basis of their popularity alone?"

In-house motive

A female participant says, "Alexx (Swetta Keswani's partner) is learning dancing from scratch. There are others who are working very hard. Why should Juhi get the privilege of having a professional dancer as her partner?"
She adds, "We are definitely not lesser mortals. We don't mind Juhi's inclusion per se, but she should bring her real-life partner, if she has one. Else, forget it. Nach Baliye has always been about couples, unlike Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa where you can dance with anybody."

Parivar comes first

The contestants strongly feel that Star Plus wants the winner to be someone who has been part of the channel's family. "There are actors in this competition who have worked for Star Plus — like Aamir Ali and Swetta Keswani in Kahaani, Vikaas Sethi in Kahiin To Hoga — but that is history. Karan Patel is doing Kasturi now, but he is not someone who is very popular as yet," says a contestant on condition of anonymity. Pooja Bedi says, "We've been directed not to speak about this. It'll be better if you confirm with Star Plus if Juhi is still on the show or not, and if so, in what form."

According to Kavita Kaushik, "I dont think Juhi's inclusion will happen. I am sure that Star Plus will not do something that doesn't fit into the concept of the show."

Kashmera Shah remarks, "Real-life couples is the USP of the show. Let that remain."

Rakhi Sawant chips in, "I am ready to fight any contestant howsoever great he or she maybe in dancing. But I want a fair game."

Juhi Parmar and Anil Jha remained unavailable for comment.

well thats totally okay and makes sense.........i think juhi would prefer it if she would do it with a real-life partner......im sure shell be least bothered by all this.......she already has lots of fantastic things at hand right now anyway........so no worries.......naina

they contestant are right.... Looking from their point of view its right andn ot fair to them they have been struggling from the first episode and if someone else enters the competition just like that someone who is a know person it will not be fair to the others, and plus from the start only it was a real life couple show so according to my getting juhi and that to in the wild card round is not fair.... Wild card round are for the participant who were out before... its for them... so why take it away from them....

this was expected i guess, the other couples wont allow it, therefore its clear that it wont happen now

ju's popularity hasnt gone down well with the others i guess.

anyways if ju's doesnt take part this yr, i wont watch the show

lets hope next yr she gets her mr right and she partcipiates, she is a rocking dancer

yup niana ju wotn be bothered one bit. she has plenty to do right now.

i have a totally diff opinion....look this time the theme is different .....its abt controversial couples and if u ppl remember properly then it was rakhi who confessed her love for abhishek and then after the show said in an article that she and abhishek are just good friends......but again they hav eshowed tht they are a couple only for nach baliye.......if the show is for real couples then wat is the garanty that they will get married....nachbaliye has already broken its concept when they got would be couples instead of real couples....in first and second season yes it was only one one couple who were there but this time its all controversial couples and there is no garranty of them being real...
and if there is talks of juhi being introduced then i think its d channels decision to do so......but the fact is that the rules are already broken so y not again....
they want trps and not participants and in order to increase the trp if they introduce juhi then as a business man they have done right......
this is my opinion.....
and as far as competiton is considered then the best dancer will only win and the results of both the seasons were right so why not this time....
if rakhi feels she is the best then allowjuhi to come and the same thing follows for all.....

anyhow, if they can let trained dnacers like kashmeera, rahkhi and sanjeedat to take part, then arent these bending the rules

snajeda and amaair confessed they were a couple approx 1 week before nb3 couples were annouced. isnt that fishy

well all the other couples like kashmira,shweta and rakhi enen others i dont think will like if juhi makes entry like this.i would prefer juhi to come with her real life baliye so that she might not have any problem during the show.

ya lets wait and watch.what the new drama is going on.the couples of nb3 all r dramebazz specially rakhi and kashmira..hope juhi does not fall in between this.
